Amelia was on her way to the kitchen as she got the note. The corridors were dark out. She wondered why would Cedric call her in the middle of the night.
She reached the kitchen and knocked softly on the door. Trinky, the elf, opened it with a wide smile.
"Mistress Amelia is here, Mistress Amelia is here" She started squealing and jumping.
"Sush Trinky you will wake the whole Hogwarts up" Came Cedric's voice from behind, Amelia laughed as the elf pouted at the chocolate boy.
"Hey you Diggory dont you dare sush the cutest elf on the planet" Amelia said sternly smiling at Trinky.
"Oh come on" Cedric rolled his eyes smiling pulling her inside the kitchen by hand.
"Trinky please get us what i said" Cedric said to the elf. Trinky bowed and left. Amelia turned to Cedric with confused face.
"What happened all of the sudden today?" She asked raising her eyebrows.
"You seriously dont remember?" Cedric asked offended. Amelia thought gulping if she was forgetting anything, his birthday falls in summer and nothing else was their to remember.
"Um I think i dont" She said timidly scratching the back of her head. Cedric shook his head smiling pulling to sit on the floor.
"Okay Cedric Diggory, now you are confusing me a lot, why are we here and why are we sitting on the floor when the chairs are empty" she asked.
"Here is Master Cedric's order" Trinky came with a large tray. Amelia gawked at what the hell was happening.
"Thankyou so much Trinky you can leave now" Cedric said holding the plate smiling. Trinky left and Amelia crossed her arms.
"Now i am super confused" she said a bit irritated.
"Okay let me spill it out to you because you are a little dense-" Cedric said sarcastically before being cut by Amelia hitting him on the arm and scowling.
"I mean today was the first time we bumped into each other" Cedric said smiling. Amelia's mouth parted slightly in surprise she didnt know how long she stared at him after that.
"Wow you remembered?" She asked in disbelief herself a bit ashamed that she didnt remember.
"Yes, i never forgot it" He said smiling and setting the tray. Amelia looked down as her cheeks started flaring up.
He had their whole candle light date planned for the night. Amelia was surprised and elated how sweet and adorable he was.
"and why did you remember when we first saw each other?" She asked titling her head suggestively.
"I might tell you later" he said blushing himself. He passed Amelia a plate of chocolate pastries and also had for himself. They ate and enjoyed talking to each other looking outside the window, the lights of the kitchen were out, the only light was from the candles he put around them.
