The next day Amelia was on her way to the great hall to have breakfast. Upon stepping into the great hall She passed by the hufflepuff table and saw the familiar charming face. Cedric was also quick to notice her and quickly called out her name. She stepped towards him with a smile.
"Hey ced" she greeted him while plopping herself down next to him.
"Hey, where have you been, didnt quite catch your beautiful sight in past few days." He said nudging her slightly, making her blush.
" Sorry i didnt get the chance to meet you recently" she said while looking down trying prevent meeting their gaze.
"Its alright " he said while handing her a glass of pumpkin juice.
"Hey Amelia nice to meet you, i am Ernie" said a boy sitting across her holding out his hand politely.
"The pleasure is all mine" she said shaking his hand firmly.
" Hey Amelia as i can see you are cedric's friend so will take the pleasure to support us in the coming match" said Ernie. Cedric's head shot up.
" We have match against gryffindor and she is in gryffindor, how stupid of you Ernie" cedric said nervously chuckling.
"Do you not want me to support you Cedric?" Amelia asked pretending to be slightly hurt. Ernie noticed her act and gave her a thumbs up unnoticeable to cedric .
"No i didnt mean it like that, its just i , may be you, gryffindor is your house, i will be gald if you support me i m not forcing you- " cedric started rambling nervously and was cut of by Amelia.
" Its okay ced, i will support you by my own will." She said while placing a hand on hia cheek. Then she saw her godfather pass by in front of them, he gave a mischevious smirk. She quickly removed her hand and scoffed and got back to her food. Whereas Cedric was slightly red beacause of the sudden affection.
~~TIME SKIPS TO HOSPITAL WING~~
"Why would you jump in front of a hippogriff, besides buckbeak didnt harm you at all, its just a minor scratch." exclaimed Amelia with a slightly raised voice. She was sitting near Draco who was lying on his bed scowling at his bandaged hand.
"Great you are defending a bloody chicken who almost ripped my arm off do you even know how much this hurts" he said.
Suddenly a sound of door cracking came from behind and Pansy stepped in. She had a big box of chocolates and a get well soon card!?
" Hello Draco how are you doing now, i know it must be hurting a lot, right?, See i brought you chocolates , you will get better in no time" she said running her hands in his hair.
"Its a bit painful but its alright, madame pomphrey said i could have died well i guess i am lucky that that beast didnt rip my arm off" Draco boasted.
