Chapter 96 || Back To Home

AMELIA RETURNED BACK HOME.

These four simple words caused a thunder strike at each and every person present in that house. George Weasley was the one who yelled informing everyone of her return, and everyone who rushed out of their rooms stopped dead on their spots frozen.

While Amelia stood in the other side with her loudly thumping heart seeing all those faces again, George, Molly, Remus and Tonks who had a big baby bump, Remus was cutting apples for her but now both stared at the newest member in extreme horror.

The only sound that ever echoed in those long passing moments eas the twitching if doorknob as someone entered, slightly turning around Amelia saw it was Fred, who now looked pale as a ghost.

Amelia who also stood on her slightly shaking legs watching the faces of every person in the room with her tear blurred vision, her throat extremely dry to even say Hi. She could not comprehend what to do who to run to and hug the life out of them. Thankfully the dead silence was broken by Estella, who herself was anxious seeing a couple sitting in front of her.

"Is this how people welcome their family members in England?" Estella asked loudly. Remus was the first one to stand up coming out of his trance causing a slight chill to run down Estella's spine, he was approaching the two girls. Amelia did not waste a milisecond in running towards her godfather engulfing him in a big tight hug. She could not hold herself any longer as she burst into tears.

"I-I missed you Remus– I missed everyone– I cant believe I am back– I hate you all!" Amelia sobbed loudly burying herself in her godfather's chest, she didnt care who thought what about her at this moment, all she knew that she was back home.

Remus who had her picked up slightly hugging tightly was sobbing himself not believing any bit of what was happening right now. He kept muttering apologies while sobbing not letting her go. But the girl standing in background who was as pale as anybody in the room pulled her sunglasses on hiding her tears.

"Amelia you shouldn't be here– its not safe–" Remus' sob was cut by his god daughter harshly. 

"Thats my choice Remus, even though I missed you all and shit, but you dont get to decide what I do in my life– I wanted to come back so I did– and also dont think you are all forgiven or will be in future– my return has some other purpose" Amelia said after pulling away, her cold tone and a mix of American accent, startled everyone even more.

America changed Amelia.

"Amelia why are you speaking like this" Remus croaked in a little pained voice.

"Like what? Like I know you all much better now?– I dont know– but let me tell one thing– everything here has been happening wrong since start, each and every single thing– you all put your faith in the wrong peron and now everyone is suffering" Amelia said hotly. Everyone stared at her wide eyed.

"That man– Dumbledore– he fooled all of you, and you still dont have any idea about it– do you even know Remus what he did with you, he took your own–"

"Thats enough Amelia!" Estella interrupted dragging Amelia out of the room in hurry and locked the door leaving everyone perplexed inside.

"What were you doing!? You cannot tell them everything" Estella whisper hissed.

"What do you mean? Are you not mad at what Dumbledore did? Do you not want your own father to know about you?" Amelia asked in the same tone.

"I want.. but just not now... H-His wife was there and she is p-pregnent– I cant do this to them– not right now–"

"You are being silly Stella!– its your family- our family— oh lord let me tell you Tonks, your father's wife is our second cousin" Amelia said gulping causing Estella to stare at her like she has seen a ghost.
