Amelia stared at her godfather standing with her father in front of her, a whole whirlwind of emotions invading her. Remus Lupin stood their with the same mixed expression looking at his goddaughter.
He took a step ahead his eyes instantly reflecting hurt when Amelia took a step backwards. She looked on thw verge of breakdown seeing her godfather standing in front of her.
"Amelia" Remus croaked hurt and guiltily reaching forward towards his goddaughter. He sensed she will definately burst out at him today.
"What?" She whispered as her eyes started pooling with tears. She hated how weak she sounded.
"What are you doing here now?" She asked bitterly backing away.
"I got to know you escaped spinner's end" Remus said his own eyes pooling with tears. Amelia clenched her jaw.
"Oh so now you care for me huh, remember me finally?" She spat harshly as a tear slipped her red eyes.
"I am sorry-" Remus began almost crying but Amelia cut him off harshly.
"I dont want your apology" She yelled not being able to control her tears anymore. Sirius stood perplexed in the background watching the immense tension between his friend and daughter.
"Amelia atleast listen to him-" Sirius began but was interrupted by his daughter.
"Dad dont come into this" She spat glaring at him, Sirius felt intimidated by the glare of his daughter for a moment, deciding to stay quite.
"I guess good night" Amelia said in a low dangerous tone turning around not sparing a glance at her godfather.
"Amelia you havent had dinner yet" Sirius called from behind.
"I lost my appetite" She yelled startling the two men before running to her room and closing the foor loudly behind her.
She fell to her knees her lips quivering fearing if she dared speaking anything only sob would be heard. She screwed shut her eyes remembering the day last time she saw him.
She recalled how after saving buckbeak and her father, she ran back to the hospital wing back with Harry and hermione. Not after long harry came with a letter from her godfather. She remembered running all the way to his office found him packing his stuffs.
She remembered pleading, begging, crying like a baby in front him not letting him go. But he still left after all of that, and till many days she didnt utter a word to anyone. Sev would daily come try to strike a conversation with her but she didnt respond at all.
She fluttered open her eyes as a heavy tear strolled down her cheek, she briskly wiped that away standing up. She went forward to stand in front of the mirror. She pulled her top from the shoulder revealing light scars which her godfather gave her on both the shoulders.
