Chapter 79 || Hurt and Broken

Draco and Narcissa Malfoy came running ti the hall hearing Lucius Malfoy's yell and halted in disbelief seeing Amelia Black standing there, she looked like a mess. Narcissa was the first one to quickly run and engulf Amelia in a tight warm hug.

"Amelia! What happened to you!? What are doing here at this hour!? Is everything alright??" Narcissa kept ranting holding the girl in her arms.

"Amelia say something what happened!?" Draco exclaimed.

"Can I talk to you alone?" Amelia said quitely to Narcissa. Narcissa held a confused worried glance but nodded taking Amelia to some other room and locking the door behind her setting Amelia on a couch, and handing her a glass of water.

"Now tell me, what happened? Why are you like this?" Narcissa asked softly in a worried tone. Amelia just stood up and wrapped her arms around her tightly.

"I left him- He doesnt love me- he didnt even try to stop me-" Amelia cried on her shoulder.

"Who? Amelia who are you talking about?" Narcissa asked worried rubbing her back.

"Sirius" Amelia said with a sob, tears damping Narcissa's shoulder.

"It was my birthday today, and no one in that house remembered, I expected him to remember his daughter's birthday atleast out of everyone, but he was on a date in the muggle London, snogging a woman, he doest care about me at all" Amelia cried with pain in her voice. Narcissa's mouth parted in disbelief.

"So I disowned him as a father, and I came here, they are not my family" Amelia said bitterly crying and pulling away. Narcissa cupped her face wiping the tears with a hurt look.

"I did not expect Sirius to do this to you" Narcissa whispered in a hurt tone.

"But I did, he just cares about Harry and not me, he is suppossed to love me the most, I am his daughter, but Potter gets all his love and attention, am I not good enough Cissy, why he doesnt love me like him?" Amelia croaked with tears continuously falling from her eyes.

"No, no, who said that Amelia, you are the best daughter any one could have-" Narcissa too had tears brimming in her eyes seeing the state of the girl in front of her.

"Then why did he let me go! Why he didnt stop me!? Why he didnt love me!?" Amelia screamed crying even harder.

"Amelia-"

"No Cissy, Sev is far better than him showing that I am the most important thing in his life, he puts me before everything, he might not admit, but his care is always visible, Remus loves me like his own daughter and then there's my father, you know when I got to know that my father is innocent, I was so so so damn happy that now I will have three fathers, I felt like the luckiest girl in the world" Amelia let out a dry chuckle with tears streaming down her face.

"Why this happened to me? What did I do to not being loved, Am I really not good enough, I am really that bad at being a daughter?" Amelia croaked in a whisper looking up at her.

"Listen now Amelia, you are the best daughter anyone could ever have, I would kill to have a daughter like you, so dont you ever underestimate yourself, its Sirius' loss that he could not know your actual worth, but I know, will you be my daughter?" Narcissa asked with a soft smile, Amelia stared at her.

"You really want me to be your daughter?" Amelia asked with disbelieving chuckle. Narcissa nodded genuinely with a smile wiping Amelia's cheeks. Amelia hugged her once again closing her eyes.

"I love you Cissy" Amelia whispered still holding on. Narcissa smiled kidding her hair. Amelia slowly pulled away, Narcissa pulled her to let her rest her head in her lap while she soothened her hair.
