It was 7th grade when Bianca and Bekah were best friends outside of school. They never had a class together during school, and never sat with one another during lunch. So how did these two become best friends?

Bekah fell leaving the school one day because of the queen bee Sharona Gatts bullying her, she hurt her hand pretty badly and Bianca saw the whole thing. She stood up to Sharona before following Bekah out and helping her. That sparked the friendship. They would hang out after school and Bekah would even stay the night with Bianca but of course lied and said it was Amelia- She didn't want Robert to worry about since Bianca was Sharona's cousin and he would always think the worst.

But it died out after they hit freshman year. But Bianca has always softly pushed Bekah to join cheer with her as she has missed the friendship.

"Today you're going to show what you've got." Bianca smiled "So go ahead and change and then bring back that school spirit!" She waved the yellow and white pom poms in the air as she smiled.

Bekah held onto the cheer uniform and walked into the locker room before changing quietly by herself. Of course, Amelia got caught up talking to another girl known as Hiyoku when she was trying to talk to Bekah.

The girls walked back in front of Bianca and waited as she stood there "Bekah Huntsman?!" She called out as the rows of bleachers were filled with the football jocks- including Robert and Devon was still being told my teachers and staff to stay with Robert.

"Show me your school spirit." Bianca looked at Bekah and sent her a sly nod of the head and Bekah stepped forward taking the pom poms from Bianca and sucking in a deep breath.

"You got this. Remember what I've told you before." Bianca whispered as she handed her old friend the pom poms and Bekah remembered what she was once told when she first tried to get Bekah to try out via a note in her locker.

"Smile, move with confidence and just own it baby."

Bekah stepped forward and looked at James who was the first person who snagged her vision, he sent her a small smile and she released all tension before she allowed herself to move.

She chose to do the most complicated routine she remembered from last year. It consisted of several shaking of the body, hand claps, three cartwheels and the finishing move was two front flips ending in a knee bow.

Bekah bowed down on her knee with her hands raised high and a big smile as the bleachers filled with applause "Go Becks!" James called out as he cupped his mouth with his hands "Are they together?" Devon asked as he watched how Bekah smiled towards James.

"It's complicated." Robert answered unsure what Devon's motives were.

The other girls did their cheer and Bianca came to the front smiling "I'm going to say 5 names, and those will be our winners!" Bianca waved pom poms in the air excitedly.

"Ashley Dirkson."

"Bekah Huntsman." The world stopped as the bleachers roared with cheering, Robert especially happy and proud of his sister who stood there frozen in time. Bekah was never viewed as one who could be a cheerleader.

She was not popular, or even close to the popular styled clothing. The last names were read off but Bekah wasn't brought back to reality until James and Robert lifted Bekah up into the air on their shoulders.

"Whoa!" Bekah grabbed onto a shoulder from each boy with a huge smile plastered to her face, she was in utter disbelief but more so proud that her hard work had paid off.

Devon stood on the sidelines of the rush and excitement as he observed how close Amelia, Robert, James and Bekah were. They were close knit group, one that just didn't seem to go together.
