"And what about you? You seem to hate people." Bekah was going to take this chance to get to know Devon now, there were so many questions swimming around in her head "I don't. I just normally never stuck around long enough to actually get to know people." Devon answered truthfully.

"Devon, what is your issue with me and Robert and our friends?" Bekah looked at him and for once he could see her gorgeous eyes and how they had brown specks flooded through the green and blue "I like to keep my distance from people, I am used to keeping my distance. I don't mean to seem like I have an issue, honestly." Devon looked lost for a minute.

"Oh." Bekah turned back to the shelf of books as she quietly hummed to herself.

"Muse. That's a good band." Devon whispered catching Bekah off guard. He knew Muse?

She smiled to herself as she continued humming the song a little louder so Devon could enjoy the song as well. She didn't quite understand this boy, and that's exactly what was drawing her in.

The hours of the shift for the twins was coming to a close as Devon worked to help them finish up faster "Time to go?" Devon raised an eyebrow as the twins just merely nodded their heads as they gathered their few items and headed out of the book shop "So, where does Bianca live?" Devon was curious as to how long it would take to get there.

"It's about a 30-45 minute walk." Robert answered truthfully causing Devon to look down at the ground.

He wasn't used to working a job and being on his feet all day, and they were killing him. Bekah looked over the boy who walked with his hands shoved deep into his pockets as his eyes wandered around the bustling city area around him. It was moreso lit up like a large city but people walked around and acted like it was a small town.

It made Devon fall in love with this place, but he knew he wouldn't be around for long. But with the pending accusation of Devon being a murderer he had to stick around, to clear his name- and with the help of the twins and their friends he was starting to believe this could be possible.

The teens walked in silence, not a word was muttered between the three. It made all of them feel awkward and not at ease. Each were curious with what the other was thinking- which made it all worse for them. But they finally made it to the growing suburbs where Bianca lived.

Devon stood there staring at the lit up houses that looked perfect, they were perfect cookie cutter houses. The twins walked on which guided Devon to follow behind them, he felt out of place for once walking through these houses. He felt like an outcast with the twins, their styles were more rugged than what the owners of these houses probably wore but it didn't seem like the twins were bothered with this. Maybe they didn't even think about it?

"This house right here." Bekah led the way up the cobblestone pathway to the canary yellow front door with a wooden welcome sign hanging on it, Bekah reached up and knocked on the door lightly before stepping back next to her brother and waiting for a response.

The door swung open quickly and showed Bianca with a smile plastered on her face. Devon felt the heat as her eyes immediately directed themselves toward Devon and just stared at him "My names Bianca." She introduced herself waiting for him to do the same.

"Devon.." Bekah whispered making Devon jump slightly.

"Right.. um. My names Devon." Bianca got a small smile before stepping aside "Come on in, we got a lot to discuss. And don't worry my dads at the station, said something about new information." The trio walked into the house and stopped for a moment before Bianca led them to her bedroom.
