Two jocks, one who only played for college, a quiet girl who hated the spotlight and her best friend who talked to everyone in sight- this friend group was anything but normal. They didn't seem to fit together well- in fact you wouldn't believe they were friends if you saw them walking the halls.

James was a straight A student, with good looks and a strong personality- one that drew anyone he met into him. He wasn't a jerk though, he knew he was good looking but didn't believe he was better than anyone else because of that.

Robert was a quiet guy, but if approached he would talk to you. He made good grades he wasn't straight A's like his twin- but he made A's and B's regularly. And playing football? That was his only shot into college, and everyone knew he needed it.

Bekah was always quiet, she never drew attention to herself as she hated the spotlight, but now was her final year to get a way into college. And cheerleading was her only real hope. Bekah made good grades, she always made straight A's- it was her darkest secret on how hard she was on herself to make the best grades.

And lastly- Amelia. She was the social butterfly, and the party expert when it came to having a good time. Amelia didn't mind stepping into the spotlight from time to time- in fact she admired the spotlight some days. And her grades were B's and C's- shes the type to believe that with some work and some play you can accomplish anything.

Devon was amazed at how this group of friends had woven together. They seemed to have formed a bond that was unbreakable. But, if Devon knew anything from his experience- friends are meant to break.

He let out a heavy sigh and shoved his hands into his pockets before turning around and walking out of the atmosphere that was bursting with excitement. He didn't need someone to show him around, and it's proven he can hold his own.

Devon walked down the hallway looking at the room numbers as he tried to find his next class "What're you doing 'round here alone?" It was a light and airy voice that broke his train of thought as he turned his head and his deep brown eyes met with those of a light blue eyed girl.

"Looking for my next class." He answered not really wanting to converse with another student.

"I saw you with the Huntsman twins- well Robert anyway." She mindlessly pointed out and Devon shrugged.

"And?" He questioned.

"You hit my brother." She crossed her arms and Devon smirked "I didn't hit your brother, I pushed him. There's a difference." Devon turned to continue walking and the girl followed.

"Well what's your deal? Those twins are trash. They think they run the world." She looked at him and he glanced at her from the side without a word.

"Harrison and Robert used to be friends ya know? Robert dropped him when he got on with the football team and James." She said his name with every ounce of bitterness and poison she had in her.

"James, he bought Robert in. With a fake friendship, a fake promise of football fame. Hell, Robert was trash when he tried out. But, but James he took him in and tried to make a joke out of him. Harrison tried out and he did so well but they laughed at him." Devon rolled his eyes as he gripped onto his bag.

"Why are you telling me this?" She snickered.

"Because idiot, they're going to do the same thing to you."

"They may seem close, they may seem like they love each other but deep down they all hate each other. They strive to destroy each other." She chuckled.

"Just wait till they use you."
