Devon stopped walking and looked at her "Well, sorry to break it to you. But they aren't my friends, they never will be. Now, whatever hate you have for them keep it to yourself. I don't need your petty drama." Devon set her straight as he took a final good look at her.

She was dressed in dark clothing and shorts that were too short for school, her hair was in a jagged ponytail and she chewed on a piece of gum without a care in the world. She stuck her tongue to run along her top teeth as she stepped closer to Devon.

"If you don't like them. If you aren't their friend then prove it." She laid a finger on his chest with a slight force as if trying to get him to step back.

"No." His face was a strong stone cold look and she chuckled "That sucks." She let her hand fall to her side as she looked up at him with baby doll eyes.

"What?" He asked bitterly getting tired of this conversation.

"They already have their hooks into you. Tell me. Is it Bekah? The beautiful shy girl who acts all cute like she's Bella Swan from Twilight?" Devon scoffed.

"There are no hooks in me. I don't know Bekah, I don't like Bekah. I won't be objectified to you, to them, to any damn body at this school. Now, fuck off." Devon turned to walk away and she grabbed his wrist harshly.

"Those twins have secrets. Bekah has dark ones, Robert has dark ones. Get close enough to find them out and you'll regret it. James and Amelia only stick around because they're just as toxic." Devon snapped around and threw her hand off of his wrist.

"Leave me the fuck alone!" He snapped glaring at her "What's your damn issue?! Huh?!" She stared at him as the halls started to fill with students.

"You're so obsessed with those twins, their group! There's something wrong with you! Now leave me the fuck alone about them! I am not their friend! I don't like them! I don't even want to talk to them, got me?!" Devon didn't yell to where it caused a scene but he made his point clear.

Devon turned around and stormed off towards his next class. What is wrong with everyone around here?

The next two classes passed by aimlessly, Devon started to realize that this school was a lot bigger then he anticipated.

Loud laughter and roaring filled the hallways as the football jocks walked down them towards the locker room and field. As they passed Devon James looked at him and smiled making Devon turn to his locker and scowl.

Was Harrison's sister right?

"Dylan. Hey man you finding everything alright?" Devon turned to look at James who stood there with the whole team including Robert.

"It's Devon actually." Devon corrected him and James' face dropped "Shit man, sorry. Devon are you finding everything alright? We can walk you somewhere if you want, we are headed to practice." James offered and Devon let out a light scoff.

"I'm great on my own. Two hours passed now that I've been here on my own, I think I got this." James nodded "Alright, cool. Hey we got a big game tonight. Hope to see you there!" The team walked off and Devon swallowed hard.

"Not a chance." Devon muttered and that's when he saw Bekah down the hall at her locker.

She was looking at him with doe eyes. She turned away and closed her locker starting to walk in another direction.

Devon let his feet carry him in the opposite direction. He had a new game plan, a new strategy around here. One he hoped would help him more than anything else.

That game plan?

That strategy?

The hopefully little bit?

To stay far from the Huntsman twins, no matter what. He was going to stay away.
