Luca's POV
Rage was boiling inside of me. I was sure as fuck going to kill whoever that motherfucking traitor. My breathing was getting faster. Suddenly, I felt a soft hand caressing my clenched jaw, my eyes immediately soften when I looked at Valeria's blue eyes. I took a deep breath, hoping it would calm me the fuck down. Damian looked confused as the tense air was rolling in the room, but he kept his mouth shut. I didn't even able to hear his thoughts.

Knowing that Damian couldn't materialized, I stood up and stormed out from my office and walked towards the basement. The others were following behind me. I entered the security code so I could access the basement. We didn't talk at all and kept walking until we arrived in front of the room.

Shit, Master must be pissed after I told him. I heard Theo's thought as I entered the second security checked. In normal days, I would be laughing at him. But now, Theo was right, I was beyond pissed. I was livid.

Damian's POV
The air was suffocating. I didn't know what the fuck was happening, but I could tell Luca was pissed. So, any information that this 'Theo' has was bad news. Valeria and I kept glancing each other, but we didn't say anything.

We arrived at the supposed to be room. And I was fucking impressed that they had this kind of security. I guessed I should learn by now that they weren't 'normal' people.

"Go on, Theo," Luca clipped after we all took a seat and Theo quickly prepared his file. Wow, he was so different when he was pissed. Also, he looked so hot when he was pissed. Knowing that it wasn't the right time, I quickly averted my thoughts about anything else except Luca's body.

"I looked at the information that you asked me to. Giselle was no longer a member of the Council of Russia for at least twelve years. She was charged with working against the council. Records indicate that Giselle and Jane worked together in Russia, England, Germany and finally... France," Theo informed. If I believed that vampires couldn't get sick, I was wrong, because I could see that Valeria was paler than before. All her happiness that I had seen from her before had suddenly vanished. Luca wasn't doing any better, he balled his hands into a fist. His breathing was ragged.

Before I knew it, I stood up from my seat, went behind Luca and Valeria's chair, and rubbed their tense backs. After a few second, I noticed their body start to relax. I stayed in my position because what the fuck was going on was bad and I knew they needed me. And whoever the fuck this 'Jane' was getting on their nerves.

Damian, you need to calm Valeria down in case she freaks out. Giselle was one of her friends back then, I startled by Luca's voice in my head. I gave him a hesitant nod as I forget he could hear me from my mind.

"What's her connection with Jane now?" Luca asked Theo with cold tone that I never heard before from him.

"Still connected. I was told that she shared information that Mistress is finally awake. However, turns out Jane has already knew. She also knew about every move you made, in the past twenty years, Master. She has sent her people to..." Theo didn't even has to finish the sentence for us to understand what he meant.

"Fuck! What the fuck?!" Luca shouted as he stood up from his chair and began pacing. Valeria was frozen as a statue, I just kept rubbing her back, not knowing what else I could do to help her. I saw Luca's body shaking with rage. Then he looked at Theo, who was currently cowering in his seat. I was feeling sorry for him. I knew that being the one who delivered a bad news felt awful.

Luca said with a ragged breath, "Tell me you got names."

"Yes, Master. But I haven't narrowed it down. I need more time to cut the list," he replied. Luca quickly asked him, "How much?"

"Right now, 12 people, Master," Theo answered him as he gave Luca the list of the names that possibly betrayed him. Luca read them, I could clearly see he was thinking so hard and tried to figure it out. That wasn't so bad, only twelve suspects among 150 vampires. Dimistrecu coven was big, but in America that lead by Luca, there were only 150 vampires.

Without hesitation, I said, "Let me meet them." My voice made Luca stopped his effort. He looked at me with his green eyes. God, every time he looked at me, it was like the first time we met.

Then Luca looked at Valeria who seemed to try to hide her emotion. I raised one eyebrow, knowing that my suggestion was the best idea. It would help our situation, a lot actually.

"Okay," he breathed out and I gave him a big smile. It felt good that I was able to help them. To help me too, actually. This was Valeria we were talking about. And I wasn't crazy enough to let anyone hurt this sweet creature.

My focus came back to reality when I heard Luca warned me, "You will meet them, but you can't speak to them. Promise me, you won't speak to them."

"I promise. Valeria can sense if I'm not feeling good about the person. And you're able to read my mind, right? I'm just going to call you out if I feel anything," I told him. My certainty must be shown because suddenly Luca and Valeria gave me a proud smile that made me want to melt in their arm.

I'm such a love sick puppy, I sighed at myself. I could see that Luca was trying to contain his laugh by the way he was biting his lips.

"Um, Master?" Theo asked Luca with a confused expression. Luca answered him, "Theo, this is Damian, my other beloved. Damian, this is Theodore. He is one of the vampires that I have confidence in my clan."

"Hi. Sorry for being rude," Theo said as he gave me an awkward smile. I just chuckled at him and said, "It's fine. Understandable considering the situation."

We jumped a little as Luca clapped his loudly, gaining our attention. "Theo, do you know what Damian is?" Luca asked him.

Theo then walked towards me and looked at me intently. I was startled as he sniffed me. I looked at Luca with 'what the hell' look on my face.

Relax. Theo is one of the most intelligent people I know. Let him help us, Luca told me. We were trying to find out what the fuck am I in the past days, but until now we weren't lucky enough to get the answer.

"Smoke... Damian might has fire element on him. Phoenix, dragon, or elemental," Theo said as he kept his gaze on me. It was weird to be examine like this. Then he said as he turned his gaze to Luca, "I can call Umbra if you like, Master."

The three of us jumped when we heard a squeal came from Valeria as she jumped from her chair, not looking too tense anymore. I should get used to Valeria's reaction, because all I could think right was squeezing her in my arms.

"Alexandra? Please I want to meet Alexandra. Let her come here, please," she begged Luca and gave him puppy eyes. Fuck, she was so cute. Damn it, I would never be able to say no if she looked at me like that. And of course, just liked me, Luca fulfilled her wish after telling Theo for checked this 'Alexandra' status. Valeria definitely had me and Luca wrap around her finger.
