Damian's POV
"You should show me your drawing sometimes," I told Valeria as we tried to go each other better, also one way to lose a nerve. I learned that Luca was from Romania, had younger two brothers, his favorite color were red and black, and he was crazy possessive about anything that concern Valeria. On the other hand, Valeria was from French, only had one sister, and loved to sketch and read.

"I'm not that good, " Valeria mumbled. She was so shy and full of insecurities. How could this sweet, beautiful creature had so much insecurity?

"Oh, believe me, she's definitely good," Luca grinned as his eyes stayed on the road while driving his fucking expensive car. I still couldn't believe that my ass was able to sit in this car.

"Shut up, Luca," sweet Valeria grumbled in response. She looked like a kitten when she was upset. Her cuteness made me and Luca chuckled at the same time. We continued to talk until I realized we began to drive into a secluded area.

Please don't tell me his house also a fucking mansion, I mentally groaned. As if Luca read my thought, I hear he let out a snort. I snapped my head in his direction and narrowed my eyes at him, but Luca face didn't give anything away.

I shook my head as I felt the surge of certainty of him able to hear my thought filled my body. Luca voice's brought me back to the reality.

"We're here," he said. I looked at outside the window and of course my jaw dropped as I saw his house was a fucking mansion.

"Do you believe in a supernatural world?" the question startled me. I looked at Luca and Valeria with open mouth. Are they fucking serious? What the fuck?

"Yes, I'm fucking serious, Damian," Luca answered made my eyes widened. I could feel my heart was pounding in my chest.

"Hey, Damian. You need to breathe," Valeria said as she came near me and kneeled in front of me. I was sitting on the sofa in the living room, so now I was face to face with her. As I felt her small hand was caressing my cheek, exactly like she did when we still at the restaurant, I began to take a deep breath.

"W-what are y-you guys talking about?" I looked at Valeria and Damian until what just happened registered in my mind. "D-did you j-just..." I tried to ask Luca. But my words never got out of my mouth. Fuck, I must look like an idiot.

"Did I just read your thoughts?" Luca asked me with a raising eyebrow. I nodded at him and he told me, "Yes, I did Damian. So, do you believe in a supernatural world?"

He asked me once again with a warm smile that made me warm. Valeria was still caressing my cheek, and I felt the motion of her hand made me calm down.

I looked back and forth between them. I knew this was a fucking serious question. My instinct told me to just fucking answered them, knowing that they must related to that. So, I slowly tried to compose myself.

"M-maybe. I-I mean..." I sighed and closed my eyes tightly. My mind drift to the event that I couldn't prevent to happen ─ the death of my parents. A whimpered bright me back from my thoughts. It was Valeria. As I opened my eyes, I saw her eyes water.

I reached her wrist from her hand that was still on my cheek. I had no idea why she was crying, but fuck, I wanted it to stop. Fucking hell, I sound like Luca, I said to myself, forgetting that Luca could pick out my thought.

Luca let out a chuckle at my panicked face. I grumbled at him while rubbing Valeria's arms as I wanted to calm her down, "What did I do? Why is she crying?"

"Valeria senses your emotion," Luca simply told me. My eyes widened as I registered his words. So she feels my grief, I thought.

"Yes, she does. You're a fast learner, Damian," Luca's voice echoed in my head almost made me jump. I looked at him with wide eyes. Holly fucking shit!

When a giggle came from Valeria, my head snapped in her direction. She was sniffling, but there was a smile in her face that made me able to breath more easily. Then, I realized that I was hugging her in my arms unconsciously because of Luca's voice.

I was about to let Valeria go and apologize, but it all flew away as Valeria hugged me tightly My eyes involuntary closed by the feeling of Valeria's body against mine. My desire to be as close as possible to her made me bury my face in her hair.

She smells so sweet, like vanilla, I thought as I inhaled her scent. Her scent was so different than Luca's. Luca smells like cinnamon and mint, with that thought I opened my eyes and met Luca's green eyes as they was watching me and Valeria with love. Love?

"Is this okay?" I whispered, not really sure if I was asking Luca or Valeria. But they both gave response. Luca nodded and gave me a warm smile as Valeria just snuggled more into my chest.

"It's more than okay. But, we need to finish this conversation," Luca told me. I knew he was right, but I didn't want to let go Valeria. Luca had to see my reluctance because he let out a chuckle.

"You don't have to let her go. I'm just going to talk, so you knew what you're dealing with here. Is that okay? " Luca asked me.

"Yeah. It's okay," I breathed out. My arms tighten around Valeria's body. Luca looked at me as if he was analyzing my state of being. Maybe he was.

"We are not humans," Luca slowly stated. I nodded my head, wanting him to continue, which he did. He said,  "Story about vampires, werewolves, witches, and many other creatures are real. We are one of them. "

I blinked at him. I was confused as fuck, because I felt like I already knew this. I supposed I should've known this all along, because I felt it in my whole life that was something wrong me.

"Not wrong, Damian. Just different," Luca told me sternly. I gasped as I still didn't use to this. I wondered, What creature are they?

"Vampires," this time, Valeria was the one who answered. Whispering the words close to my ear. Her breath made me shivered.

I knew I should be afraid, but I wasn't. Not a single thing in my body screamed to get the fuck away from them. So it was kind of confusing for me.

"Why am I not afraid?" I asked in a whisper voice Valeria pulled back slightly and looked at me in the eyes while saying, "Because you are our soulmate. It's a common thing in the supernatural world that every creature has a soulmate or soulmates."

My breath hitched by Valeria's word. I knew that she wasn't lying. Maybe deep down I knew it as well. Before I could think it any further, the word that came from Luca made my body froze.

"Damian, you're not a human either," he told me. My head snapped at him. "W-what?" I said with wide eyes.

"Your scent is different. It's not completely human. This also explains your sense of danger. I think it was part of your powers. We're still not sure what you are. If you want, we can figure it out together, but only if you want," Luca explained to me.

My head was buzzing because of the information. I didn't know what to say and what to do. Thankfully, Valeria noticed my troubled emotions and said, "I think that's enough for today. We can talk about it tomorrow. "

I nodded my head, I was sure I couldn't be able to process anything more properly. "Stay the night, please," Valeria asked me shyly.

That alone was able to make me broke into a smile. I just pulled her closer to me and nodded my head as an answer to her question.
