Damian's POV
Valeria was standing in front of me with her blue wide eyes and a wood stake piercing her stomach. Chocking sound came out her mouth.

We were at the field. There was an old house nearby. The moon and the dim light from the lamp were the only source of light that we had.

Dread filled my body. I wanted to rush to Valeria but I couldn't.

I didn't know what was happening, but I couldn't move.

Looking around, I saw Luca was laying in the ground like a frozen statue. His eyes was full with desperation as he looked at Valeria.

My eyes wandered again and what I saw next made my blood run cold. There she was, standing tall with a dark expression.

Jane.

She was holding a wood stake and starting to walk towards Valeria. I tried to move my body, but I couldn't.

Why can't I move? Damn it, I have to move!

Valeria fell on her knees as she was coughing blood from her mouth. When her watery eyes finally locked with mine, she whispered, "He n-need y-you. F-fight."

Just when she finished the words, another stake pierce through her chest. Valeria managed to send me a small smile before the life from her eyes slowly fading. As her body hit the ground, an ear piercing scream was heard.

"Damian! Wake up!"

"No!" I gasped as I woke up abruptly from my dream state. The dream felt so fucking real. And I got a feeling that wasn't just a dream.

I was sweating and shaking as a leaf. Quickly, my eyes searched for Valeria. She stared at me with concern, but I didn't care.

I hugged her in a death grip. I couldn't imagine how I couldn't live without her.

Shutting my eyes tightly, I kept my hold on her body. I needed this. I need to know that she's safe.

"What happened?" Luca asked as he sat beside me and Valeria on the bed. I just shook my head and put a mental wall in my mind.

I didn't want them to know. It was awful. And one thing that Alexandra told me about a prophecy, I couldn't tell a single soul about the future in details.

People who had the gift of prophecy had to understand that telling others about it could sometimes cause more harm than good.

"I can't tell you," I whispered with my eyes closed. Valeria rubbing my back with her hand, silently giving me a support.

It was silent for a bit before Luca asked me again, "You saw something, didn't you?"

I nodded my head and buried my head at Valeria's neck. I could feel it through the bond that Luca and Valeria concerned about me.

It was unusual for me to be freaked out about something. While Luca had a serious business-like expression on his face, I had a friendly one.
