Damian's POV
It took us fifteen minutes to wake Valeria up. Because of her emotional state, I could tell she was exhausted. However, as soon as she awoke, I noticed she looked better than she had before. Don't get me wrong. She was always incredibly beautiful. Her beauty, however, was overshadowed by her lack of energy.

The pack ground was... interesting. They lived in secluded areas as werewolves. In this instance, it was the woods. The pack house was large enough to rival Luca's mansion, but not as grand.

Valeria blinked sleepily beside me as we stood in front of the pack house, escorted by two guards. Luca was explaining our unexpected arrival to the guards. Luca had been unable to reach Marvin Rivera. So, we had no choice except to come by ourselves with no invitation.

"We're waiting for Marvin and William to confirm our identity," Luca explained when he returned. Then his attention was drawn to Valeria. He asked,"How are you, my love?"

"I'm still sleepy, but much better," Valeria murmured as she wrapped her arms around Luca. Luca sighed and kissed her forehead.

"They should be here soon," Luca said, "and if you're still tired, I can request a room so you can sleep again."

"No," Valeria said, slightly pouting and looking up at Luca with puppy eyes, "I want to play with the pups."

Luca was silent for a moment, his eyes flickered with concern. I bit my lower lip to keep a chuckle from escaping. There was no way Luca could win the argument with that expression on Valeria's face.

Luca sighed, as expected "Okay, then. But promise me you won't push yourself."

"I promise!" Valeria said with a wide smile on her face. That look was more than enough to lose any argument.

Heavy thuds on the ground signaled the arrival of the werewolves. Two large black wolves stood tall in front of us.

Suddenly, the bone crack was heard. Then there were two naked men. They both had jet black hair and a tanned complexion. They were naked in all their glory. Their body was buffed and muscular. Valeria quickly closed her eyes to avoid looking at the nakedness of the two men.

One of the guards instantly handed the alphas shorts. Werewolves were clearly used to to this type of situation. Valeria, on the other hand, was not.

"It's you," one of the alphas — I assumed Marvin — said to Luca, a big smile on his face, "I was worried we might have an imposter."

He had fine lines around his eyes. If he was human, I'd guess he was around forty years old. Werewolves were not immortal, but they lived significantly longer than humans.

"I called you," Luca scoffed, "but no one answered."

"Oh... Yeah, about that," Marvin scratched his brow, "I completely forgot to tell you that I changed my number."

"Hmm," Luca said as he turned to face William, "Little Will is now the Alpha, then?"

"Yes, Sir," William stood tall, a small smile on his face. His voice was slightly gruff, but he possesses a calm demeanor. I had a feeling I could put my trust in this man.

"These are my beloveds," Luca introduced us, "Valeria and Damian."

"Ah... Valeria. I'm delighted to meet you. Luca couldn't stop talking about you back then, "Marvin gave a big smile. "Of course, I'm delighted to meet another of Luca's mates."
