Damian's POV
The ringing of my phones jolted me awake. My body was quite sore and I really didn't want to get up. Luca quickly snatched my phone from the nightstand before I could even react.

"Hey, Damian. It's Will. Do you want to pick up the phone?" Luca stroked my cheek lightly as he spoke to me in hushed tones. I grumbled under my breath as I tried to open my eyes. The sky was still dark, meaning it must be important that Will call me at this hour. Fucking hell.

Taking my phone from Luca, I blinked away the sleepiness. If this isn't important, I'm going to kill Will, I mentally grumbled.

"Hey. What's up?" I mumbled as I answered the call. My body got tense when I heard Will's heavy breath.

"I'm not sure if I sound crazy. But I think I just saw a wolf stalk me," Will said in a trembling voice. He seemed to be terrified. I glanced at Luca and Valeria who were now wide awake. Well, I didn't think they need that much rest as human either.

It could be a werewolf, Luca told me. I nodded slowly and tried to come with the solution to help Will without making him freaked out.

What am I supposed to say? 'Hey Will, it's probably a werewolf. Just chill.'

Will was a sweet man with a pure heart. I didn't think I could talk to him about this fucking paranormal world, which didn't even fully understand yet.

I could feel anxiety creeping in, and of course Valeria immediately noticed. She brought my much larger in her small hand as an offer to comfort me. Which was helping, a lot. Her touch calmed me down. While Valeria was helping me with my emotions, Luca seemed to think a way to face the situation in hand.

We'll help you. And your friend. We will always be here, Valeria smiled at me. As I stared at her blue eyes, I believed every word she said to me. And I knew Luca would be there for me as well. I nodded to myself as I tried to convince myself that I wouldn't lose a friend like Will. However, if I indeed lose him, Valeria and Luca would always stay.

"Where are you?" I asked him.

"At the park. It's staring at me, dude. Fuck. I'm going to die, aren't I?" Will answered me. His voice told me that he was scared to death. Yeah. No shit, Sherlock

"Calm down. Take a deep breath me for me. I will be there. I'm not in my dorm, so it might take some time. But I'm coming for you," I told him, hung up the phone, and rushed to get dressed. My mind was so focused to get to the park as fast as I can.

But when I reached the bedroom door, Luca grabbed my wrist. I looked up at him with confusion.

In a flash, Luca and Valeria hugged me. I could feel the air surrounding us shifting. I didn't know what was happening. But in a blink of an eye, I was in the park. My eyes widen in shock. Did they just materialize with me?

Valeria nudged me and pointing at the scene in front of me. Right. Focus, Damian.

My best friend was sitting at the bench park. There was a black wolf in front of him. While Will frozen in fear, the wolf was now standing in front Will and growling at us. He or she definitely was a big wolf. No wonder Will was scared to death.

No one of said anything for a few second. The wolf kept growling, showing the teeth that ready to rip us into pieces. However, all of the strength showcase was stoped by Luca's words.
