Valeria's POV
I could feel Luca's pleasure through the bond as I finished my glass of blood. Maria looked at me weirdly when I let out a giggle. "What is it?" She asked me.

"Luca and Damian might do something... enjoyable," I replied excitedly. I was extremely happy for them! I wanted to join them, but I guessed I still shy to do anything with Damian. But today I kissed Damian on the cheek! And I considered it as a progress.

"Ah... The young man is very handsome," Maria said dreamily, her wrinkles at the corners of her eyes visible when she smiled.

"Yes, he is," I nodded my head. I knew I probably looked like a child in a candy store. But it didn't matter to me because I had two beautiful men in my life.

"So... What is it with me going on duty by calling those vampires?" Maria asked me as she fixed her gaze on me. She knew something was wrong.

"Jane," I whispered. Maria was visibly stiffen, and her fear was palpable. She gulped and stared at me with wide eyes.

"What the hell?" she yelled at me in hushed tones. I smiled sadly at her. "What do you think, Maria? Luca killed Roderick, so she obviously wants to kill me," I told her.

"But how? Luca had already searched for her. But he never found a clue. Her family even apologized to the monarch and got their memories read one by one," Maria said. I heard her heartbeat was getting fast.

"Calm down, Maria," I said, clutching her hand in mine. "Take a deep breath for me."

I knew for sure I was stronger than her. But Jane was a cunning vampire. She didn't have a compassion. And that made her powerful because she feared nothing but her life.

"We have a traitor in our clan. That's why we have no clue all these years," I informed her. She gasped and asked me, "Who is it?"

"As far as I know, it's Adrianne. But I'm not sure. I kind of passed out when Luca questioned her," I told Maria sheepishly, remembering how being held by Damian calmed me down. I could hear Luca's voice, but it wasn't that frightening when Damian held me close to his body.

"Oh, my God! Are you all right? Do you need more blood?" Maria asked as she leapt to her feet. Sensing her panic, I grabbed her hand and forced her to sit down.

"No! I'm okay. I'm just... Emotionally drained," I tried to calm her down. She narrowed her eyes at me and scolded me, "You should pay attention to your body. You have just woken up and I'm not going to waste my time watching you get sick."

"Okay... I understand," I smile warmly at Maria. I knew she loved me, so I didn't want her to worry. Maria squinted her eyes as if she was assessing me.

"What are you two talking about?" Luca's voice drew our attention to him. Damian was standing right next to him. The smell of sex was lingering on them. I giggle as happiness flowed in me. I was so happy to meet Damian and now and now he was with us. If he also wanted me, I couldn't ask for more.

Damian's POV
Valeria giggled, her gaze landed on us. Her face was glowing with a happiness. She was so beautiful. I loved her smile, her laugh, her touch, and everything about her.

I think she's happy that we did something in the bedroom, Luca told me. My eyes widened and I could feel the heat on my face. Maria was smirking at me. Fuck, she had to know this if she looked at me like that.

"This is so awkward," I grumbled. Luca laughed at me and pulled me to come closer towards Valeria and Maria.

"Do I want to know what happened?" Maria asked while wiggling her eyebrows. I chuckled nervously and shook my head at her.
