12.Dying wish

I wake up in a dark place. It was pitch black. No humans. No life. Just still silence around me.

I look around running desperately to find someone, anyone. Was this a dream? Is this what hell looks like?

I see, at a distance, a hand, Sukuna's hand, his fingers reaching for me. I run and as soon as I reach and grab his finger all of the black void vanishes. I wake up and see what had remained of his body. His head lying in my arms. His arms and legs missing. And a finger of his in my hand.

Is this what he meant when he said he doesn't know how long will it take for the fragments of his soul to be back together again?

If so, all that I need to do is search for him. That's all. Knowing that made me a little happy. That I could still be with him even after I was dead. Oh, wait..

I get up and look at my body. It was back to normal. All the scars and bruises had vanished except the curse mark from his body that was engraved on mine. Was this really my body? I don't know and couldn't care. All that I have on my mind right now is finding him.

I picked up his dead decaying head and kissed him.

"I'll find you..my Sukuna."

I look around and everything was reduced to ashes. All that was lying around was human bones and the smell of burnt flesh.

That's right I don't know how long did it take for me to be reborn again. I should probably ask someone..
But what do I do with his body? Should I bury him?

I dig up a grave for him with my bare hands. I have a human body. But nothing hurts. Maybe I was born as a humane curse?

I finish digging up his grave and bury him with my Yukata. I place a stone on the surface and carve his name on it.

"To my beloved Sukuna Ryomen."

And here starts a journey to find the missing pieces of his soul, in the hopes of meeting him once again.

I go back to my house on the hill and change into something else.

"Now where did Souta run off to again?"

I look in the direction I remember he ran off and follow it. Things seemed a bit different, I guess some time has passed since then, I wonder if he'll be able to recognise me.

I get a lot of stares as I walked down the road. A man wearing the king's symbol on his armour walks up to me.

"Ma'am, where are you going?"

"Nowhere, I'm actually searching for a boy called Souta."

"Do you mean Souta Hiroshi-sama?"

"I think that was his name."

Everyone seemed shocked. Did he become a mass murderer or something?

"I'm sorry Ma'am I need you to come with me."

"Fine.."

No matter where they take me they can't do anything to me, if they do know about him I can squeeze out some information.

The man escorts me to the royal palace.

"Hiroshi-sama! I've brought the woman you've been searching for decades!"
