Chapter 17

"Sir, what are doing here?" Ananya asked shocked looking at him.

"Why don't u come to the office?" Neil asked her concerned.

"You came here just to ask me this?" Ananya asked him surprised.

"I called u so many times but u were not answering the calls and I was so worried....." Neil trailed off stopping himself.

"You were worried for me?" Ananya asked him smiling slightly.

"Why u didn't answer my calls?" Neil asked diverting the topic.

"I'm suffering from fever." Ananya said in a low voice.

"What? are u okay? Did u take medicine?" Neil shot questions with worry going near her.

"I took medicine and slept..... I feel alright now." Ananya said.

"Okay, u didn't answer my calls that's why I came here to check on u." Neil said.

"Sorry.....my phone was on silent and I slept, so I don't know......I should have informed u in the morning only." Ananya said embarrassed.

"No no.....it's fine." Neil smiled at her.

She looked weaked and was awkwardly standing there infront of him.

"Did u eat anything?" Neil asked.

"No sir.....I just woke up." Ananya said.

"You look so weak....come you should eat something first." Neil said.

"It's fine sir....first I prepare something..... will u have anything?" Ananya asked going into the kitchen.

"No, but you should definitely have." Neil said sternly.

"I will have some bread for now." Ananya said and took the bread.

"What? It's not enough Ananya.....u should have proper meal." Neil says.

"No sir....actually I'm not feeling to eat  anything, I'm eating this because i had to eat because of medicine." Ananya says.

"No, u just sit here." Neil says making her sit on the dining table.

"Why? Ananya asked confused looking at him removing his coat.

"What are u doing sir?" Ananya asked again when she saw him opening the fridge.

"What do u want to eat?" Neil aked her looking into the fridge.

"Why? Are going u to make me something?" Ananya joked and he gave her a look.

"What? Are u serious?" Ananya exclaimed.

"Yes.....now say what u want eat?" Neil asked.

"Anything." Ananya says.

"How about an omelet?" Neil asked her.

"Yes!" Ananya said and neil smiled at hee.

She just watched him the whole time while he was cooking and it was a sight to see. How does it with so much concentration like if he is doing some lab experiment and her heart fluttered at the thought that he was cooking for her.

She was lost in his thought so much that she didn't realised he finished making omelet until he kept it in front of her and looked at him until he sat beside her on the chair.

"Eat." Neil said.

"For u?" Ananya asked.

"I already ate my lunch in the office." Neil said.

"Oh ok wait." Ananya got up and went to the fridge.

"She poured some juice in the glass and kept it in front of him.
