Timeskip-a couple minutes later

Rogue, Yukino, and Lexi finally got back with the supplies.  I quickly hooked up the magic power transfusion tube (A/N: this is something I made up, if you're wondering.  It's kinda like how they hook up hospital patients with morphine, except this one feeds pure magical power to the patient) to Sting's arm so that he could get some magic power back quicker.  I then placed the warm damp towel on Sting's forehead.

"Do you know what happened to him?" Rogue asked, worried for his best friend.  I shook my head.

"Not yet," I replied as I put on a bandage on Sting's neck.  Before I did though, I examined the small puncture.  It was odd, as if a dart or something poked him.  After a couple seconds of uncomfortable silence between the four of us, Rogue spoke up.

"Could you leave us alone for a minute?" Rogue asked calmly.  I looked up at Rogue, confused as to why he would want to speak to me alone.  Yukino and Lexi looked at each other weirdly too, but left the room.  Lector was asleep on Sting's abdomen, so he probably won't hear...whatever he wanted to say to me.

"Yes...?" I said in a questionable tone.

"Do you notice...anything weird with Sting?" he asked.

"Other than the fact that he tried to kill me?" I ask, a hint of angry sarcasm in my tone.

"Well, that of course, but I mean...like his eyes?"  I looked back to the moment when Sting was on top of me with the dagger pointed at my chest.

"Yeah.." I answered slowly, "at first, they were dull and dragon slits, but after a couple seconds, it just became purely dull," I decided to leave out the weird presence I felt and the voice.

"Just like that time.." I heard Rogue mutter under his breath.  What time...?

"What?" I frowned, wanting him to say it a bit louder for clarification.

"Iya, nothing, just.." he paused for a moment.  "..Do you remember...why you got kicked out of Sabertooth?" I opened my mouth to say something like I've said it a million times but...my mind went blank.  Why was I kicked out of Sabertooth?  I don't even remember leaving Sabertooth, just that I....left it. Weird..

"N-no..." I stuttered, amazed.  How could I forget something like that?  There are so many gaps in my head...could this be a spell?  No, that's crazy...right?

Soon, I realized Rogue was looking at me with regret in his eyes.  Regret?  "Why..? Did Sting behave like this when...I was kicked out?" I asked, slightly choking at the last words I said.  Rogue blinked a couple times, like he was spacing out or something.

"I-I don't remember," he stammered, making me a bit suspicious.  "Anyways, I have to go."  And with that, he quickly left.  Hmm, he's acting weird..  I thought to myself.  I went back to patching up Sting, but there was still something bothering me.  Why do I have so many memory gaps...?  Could it really be from a spell?
