Abir
Ten minutes laterRoughly pulling up to my crib, I hopped out of my whip as I made my way into the house. I wasted no time jogging up the staircase before I walked into my room and rummaged through my shit.
I began grabbing all my shit, throwing it into a duffle bag. I grabbed all of my clothes, all of my money and everything I'd need for what the fuck I was about to do. I'd been planning long enough in my mind and now it was time.
I'd had enough of the bullshit.
Stopping in my tracks, I bent down as I saw a box fall out of my drawer once I'd pulled the clothes out. Not even hesitating, I grabbed it and shoved it into my pocket as I continued packing my shit.
It took me no more than ten minutes to pack everything I wanted, once I was finished, I grabbed my shit and took one last look at this crib before I closed my room's door.
Making my way out of the house completely now, I put all my shit in the car as I hopped in and sped off.
I was on a mission.

An hour later
"Yo, Unc?" I called, slamming my car door as I walked up on him on the block.
"What's good, neph? You Aight?" He asked, dabbing me up and I scoffed, looking away from him.
"Yeah." I mumbled before looking down at the ground.
"What's up then? How's G?" He kept on questioning and I waved all of that shit off.
I wasn't here for that.
"Look, Unc. That ain't what I came over here for.."
"I need to talk to you about sum' important." I went on saying and he looked at me for a moment before he nodded his head slowly.
"You out?" He asked and I stood there confused on how he knew what I was doing but I ain't even question it. Considering all the shit that was going on right now. It was the only logical thing to do at this point.
"Yeah, man. This shit over with."
"My gir-" I started but stopped, sighing heavily.
"I mean, G."
"Man, she been through enough shit and her mama.." I scoffed, waving that shit off.
"I'm just done with this shit. All a nigga was tryn' do was stack this money and make sure my girl and my son was straight. You feel me?" I expressed and he nodded, taking in my words.
I mean, it was the truth. This drug money was quick money for the ultimate goal and that was make sure I got my son out the hood. I couldn't go legal and make money slow, I had two people to provide for and fast.
But everybody around me was thinking about the present, I was thinking about the future and the future wasn't me and G living in my crib, staying a few blocks away from the hood while she worked at her grandma's store with my son on her hip. I wanted my son and my girl to live comfortably.
Drama-free.
I couldn't even do that shit right though.
"Look, nephew." My Unc broke me away from my crazy ass thoughts.
"I feel you and I respect your decision as a man."
"That's a grown ass man move and I really applaud you for that."
"So look." He spat, slapping my chest with the back of his hand.
"Ain't no flashin', ain't no consequences."
