(Giselle in the MM)
Giselle
Later that day
6pm"I hate those raggedy ass customers." Mila fussed, going on her daily rant as we finally left the store for the day while Poodie came strolling around the corner.
"Always got something to say." She went on as he pulled her in for a hug, lifting her off of her feet and I smiled small at them.
"For real." I agreed with her, feeling sick to my stomach now as I stood on the corner hunched over.
"Yo, you good, GG?" Poodie spoke up once he put her down, knitting his eyebrows and I nodded, looking at them out of the corner of my eye.
"Yeah, I'm fine."
"Y'all can go ahead. I'm just feeling a little sick from that water ice." I admitted, standing straight up once the nausea began to slowly pass.
"Hm."
"I told you, GG. Little cousin doesn't like that water ice at all." She joked and I nodded.
I'd ended up getting a water ice anyway while working even though I'd knew I would get sick. He/she obviously really didn't like it.
"I know."
"Do you want us to wait with you though? I don't want to leave you out here by yourself." She asked as I sighed deeply, looking around for Abir but of course he wasn't here yet.
"No. It's fine." I rolled my eyes hard before pulling my phone out.
"Hopefully he'll be here soon." Was all I said, sending him another text message.
Where are you? I sent before shoving my phone back into my pocket.
See, Abir came to get me almost everyday after work now, he was finally getting himself and his new place together so he always wanted me to come home with him. Which I didn't mind, considering my grandma's house was always crowded with people and after last night, being caught and all, I knew his place was better for us to spend time.
Lately though, he's been getting really sloppy and careless, showing up and pulling up to pick me up whenever he wanted to. As if he didn't have a two month pregnant girlfriend that'd been on her feet all day at work.
"Are you sure, GG?" Mila asked again, breaking me away from my thoughts before loud music came blasting down the block and Abir's car came speeding right along with it.
"Never mind." She laughed as I shook my head in annoyance, watching as he pulled up on the corner.
I watched as a small smirk played on his face while he calmly leaned out of his car's window. I could tell his attitude from earlier was completely gone now but mine had just begun.
