Layla sat beside Raya and smiled at her. "Hmm...What's up between you and Miss Undercut?"
"We... we're a thing..." Said Raya hesitantly.
"So I thought. I know that you both are romantically intertwined but be careful. Not everyone will be as accepting as I am." said Layla with a hand on her shoulder.
"Like my Ba..." said Raya. But she said that so low that it was almost inaudible. Layla picked up on what she said though.
"Don't worry. And don't change yourself or stop loving Namaari because of what anyone thinks, even your Ba. We don't know why this ignition of love happened and this rare, but you should never be treated as though you are less of a warrior and princess because of your sexuality. I for one support you and will fight for you if anything happens." expressed Layla.
Raya hugged her and said, "Thank you so much Layla! This means so much to me."
"Anytime princess. Now, you need to get a warm and relaxing bath and have lunch."
"No I'm not hungry. I'm rather bloated. I just wish Namaari was here. I'm so worried about her being out there and something happens."
"Don't worry Raya. I'm sure she's okay. She has the mighty dragons by her side and she herself is mighty and almost undefeatable."
"Yeah, you're right Layla." said Raya as she smiled at Layla.
----------------------------------------------Meanwhile in the forest...
Pengu returned with two more dragons. Dao, a dragon with the ability to cause earthquakes and Kyra, one that has the ability to turn stone into building material.
"Okay. The plan is that since we do not know if there are anymore openings, we will separate it from the rest of Kumandra and using water, Sisu and I will turn the space into a pond. After, Kyra will ceal off the entrance area by building a wall, " Said Pengu.
"Smart idea!" Expressed Namaari
"Alright. Step back everyone...go far back..." instructed Dao
He caused a mighty earthquake that tore away about 12 meters around the cave area. As the ground parted, using their water magic, Pengu and Sisu turned the opening into a pond by filling it with water.
"That should hold them off while we do further research to find out the reason they're back." Said Supira. Namaari then remembered about the threat at Fang and that Laari was out to try and kill her mother. She said, "Sisu, I have to get back to Fang immediately."
"What's wrong Namaari?"
"Two servants plotted to kill my mother. The animal poisoning was staged. I found out because...Raya told me that she saw her acting strange, which at first I refused to believe...but then, I heard it with my own ears..." said Namaari in a low and sad tone.
"Okay let's go. The rest of you can report to chief Benja and let him know that we placed a barrier between Heart and the forest where the cave is." said Sisu.
Namaari held onto her as she flew quickly to Fang. The warriors have secured Fang from the Druun and fortunately, it was only one creature in their vicinity...at least as far as they saw. Sisu said, "Namaari, I think I'd like to confront the suspects who tried harming your mother."
"No Sisu. We need to make an example of them and put them outside for the druun to take hold of!"
"Namaari...that's not right."
"But it's not right if my mother was killed."
"Two wrongs cannot make a right. Think of it this way. In the past, you messed up so many times, yet you were never treated as you deserved." explained Sisu.
Namaari felt really sad as she realized that Sisu was right.
"Okay...I'll get them." said Namaari.
She went inside the palace. Laari sat and was talking with Virana. Namaari said, "Hello mother, Laari."
"Hello my love. Wonderful to see that you returned. Is everything okay elsewhere?" said Virana.
"We've managed to secure Heart and create a barrier...but....may I have a moment with Laari?"
"Sure dearest."
Laari got worried and followed behind Namaari to Sisu. She bowed to Sisu and said, "W-why am I here Namaari?"
"I heard your plan to try and rid Fang of my mother and myself... why?" said Namaari.
Laari broke down in genuine tears and said, "I-I have no excuse. Yonique and I just...have always wanted to be the future of Fang...and-...I'm sorry. I no longer wanna be a part of this. Please Namaari...please forgive me."
Sisu went next to her and said, "Laari, do you remember how broken the world was? It is because of the breaking of trust. And even if you lust for something, taking the life of who has what you want won't let you have it. If you supposedly end up with it, it will never last long or you will live in guilt and misery. The punishment for such an intention would be to exile you from Fang. But...we won't."
"No...I deserve to be exiled..." Said Laari in tears...
"What you deserve is another chance to set things right." said Namaari. "I have been in a situation as this...I broken trust so many times but I turned my life around, and I encourage you to do the same. Please...please get Yonique."
"Yes your majesty." replied Laari.
Not long after, she returned with Yonique who regretted her actions as well. They were both given a second chance.
