Chief Benja entered Raya's room and said, "Hello dew drop"
For a few seconds, Raya didn't realize her father's presence. She was staring into the blue as she thought about Namaari as the scent of her cologne was still present after they hugged.
"Dew drop?" said the chief looking puzzled as he tried to get Raya's attention.
"Ba! I'm so sorry I didn't realize that you entered I'm so sorry." exclaimed Raya.
Benja chuckled to himself and said, "That's okay. You seem to be in a 90% better mood than earlier." As he sat beside Raya and gave her a hug, he noticed Namaari's strong cologne. "Hmm...the affection...I can literally smell it"
"Wait what?" said Raya, puzzled.
"Your undercut bestie is a good friend huh" Said the chief as he smirked at Raya
"Yeah." Raya zoned out, forgetting that her Ba was the one beside her and just started mumbling, "She's everything. So daring, beautiful, defensive..."
The chief cleared his throat and said, "Come to dinner and stop daydreaming dew drop." He was oblivious to the fact that there was more than just a friendship going on.
"Oh.. Ba, I'm so sorry."
Raya's appetite returned as she went to the dining room. After eating, she had a shower then went to bed. That night, she had a dream that she finally confessed everything to Namaari and in the heat of the moment, she woke from the sun pelting on her face.
She went to breakfast and then had her morning shower
