Part 32

Namaari was very exhausted and she embraced Raya. The couple fell asleep and the next morning, they were both startled by a knock on the door. 

"Wh-who is it?" said Raya in her tired voice.

"It's your delightful Ba. May I enter?" said Chief Benja jokingly.

"Sure Ba..." said Raya as she buried her face in Namaari's chest.

Benja entered and was in awe. The girls looked so adorable as they rested in each other's arms.

"I feel like I'm being intrusive."

"No it's fine..." said Namaari, her eyes still closed.

Benja chuckled and said, "Was just coming to check on you both....especially my lil dew drop. I heard you're okay."

Raya got up and hugged her Ba and said, "Thank you for helping me."

"Of course dew drop. In about 10 minutes, you'll have your breakfast carried to you." said Benja as he exited.

"Room service yay" said Raya childishly as she fell back, onto Namaari.

Namaari smiled and said, "Well I think I want 3 more days of rest."

"You mean 3 more seconds?"

"No... three days as in 72 hourssss" said Namaari as she slightly yawned.

"Get up dep la" said Raya as she tried pulling Namaari up.

"It's gonna take you a lot more strength than that." said Namaari. "On the other hand, I can easily do this-"

Namaari pulled Raya onto her and kissed her lips. Raya felt her heart pounding in her chest as she gave into Namaari's unexpected kiss.

Namaari then got up and said, "You look like you're about to die, you okay?"

"Yeah just wasn't expecting that kiss."

"Well, expect more of the unexpected." said Namaari with a smirk before she lay in bed again.

Raya held onto her upper arm and tried pulling her up again but Namaari barely moved.

"As I said dep la, it's gonna take you a lot more strength. And I think you're massaging my biceps more than trying to pull me up."

"n-no..." said Raya while blushing.

"Don't try and hide it, love. I know you love to feel them." 

"Yeah I do." admitted Raya as she walked to the bathroom to fix her hair.

"Your hair looks fine dep la. You don't need to go the extra mile to impress me." teased Namaari.

"Hah...I'm not going an extra mile, I'm just um...caring for it."

"Says the girl who didn't used to give a damn before I started sleeping over."

Raya smiled at her through the mirror. She didn't realize when she got up and sneaked up behind her. When she bent down to take up her brush which fell on the ground, Namaari put her arms around her, startling her.

"DEP LAAAAA" expressed Raya in fright.

Namaari laughed as she caressed Raya's tummy and said, "Sorry. I told you to expect the unexpected."

"Well you sure got me...again." said Raya.

Raya noticed that Namaari's extra romantic behavior wasn't just random. She knew Namaari wanted something more but wasn't directly saying it. Something more than just embraces, cuddles and kisses. Is it what Raya thinks and is now the time? Eh...probably not.

"Dep la..." said Namaari before she was interrupted by a knock on the room door. 

She went to open it and one of the servants had arrived with breakfast. She took the trays and rested them on a table in the room.

"Ah food. My best friend." expressed Raya.

"How do people eat a lot of food?" asked Namaari, deep in thought.

"Food is everything! Food is just...this sensation...when you take a bite of something or drink something, it gives you this satisfaction... Ohhhh I can't express it enough dep la" said Raya as she exaggerated.

"Lucky you. I'm not much of an 'eater'. It's like I just eat to live and stay healthy."

"Well on the other hand, I don't eat to live, I live to eat." said Raya as she sat down on the couch next to the table where the food was placed. 

"Hmmm...I think I'll have tortas first." said Raya. She was quite indecisive about what she wanted. 

"Well I'm heading for the bo kho. Back home, it's one of my fave dishes."

"I'm not a big meat fan like... to have it without an accompaniment." said Raya

"I can eat meat for dayssss"

Raya laughed and said, "SAYS THE GIRL WHO SAID SHE ISN'T MUCH OF AN 'EATER'"

"Okay okay let me rephrase...I don't eat much if a lot of meat isn't involved."

They ate and had normal conversations with each other for the rest of the morning. Afterwards, Raya said, "Let's have our morning shower now"...👀

It's only their second shower together and we will uncover what happens in the next chapter which will be published tomorrow ;)
This fanfic is almost completed and is the first I've written and I was very skeptical about putting my work out there and I have been soooo happy with all the positive feedback I've gotten! I did not expect that persons would actually like it and I appreciate every single one of you who have shown support <3
