Part 38

She felt something crawling over her hand as she slowly woke. Raya's hair was all messy and as she fully opened her eyes, she was starting at Namaari, who was smiling at her. She brushed what was an ant from her hand and said, "N-Namaari.."

"Good morning dep la." teased Namaari.

Raya gasped as she got up and said, "W-wait...it's morning already?"

Sisu laughed and said, "No silly. It's early evening. We all got some well needed rest. Jagan was the first one up...maybe about an hour ago."

"Wow...why didn't you wake me up if I was sleeping that long?" said Raya.

"Why would we? You needed the rest." said Namaari.

"Well, I do feel really rejuvenated."

"Excellent." said Pengu.

"We'll head back to the palace soon." said Namaari.

"By 'soon' I think you mean about...the next half hour. We are going for a swim." said Pranee.

Namaari slightly chuckled and said, "Hmm yeah suit yourselves."

"I don't know how you cat-ladies do it. This is literally heaven!" expressed Sisu as she jumped into the water and swam around.

Namaari giggled and said, "Just not my preference but I do enjoy a lovely shower or bath."

"Of course you do" said Raya with a smirk.

Namaari blushed and said, "hmm...You're so adorable. Come rest on my chest."

Raya gladly did so. "You seem extra romantic today dep la."

"Of course. You make me so happy." said Namaari.

Namaari felt so relaxed, so loved...she was so caught up in that moment. Both she and Raya admired the dragons as they enjoyed swimming around and playing in the river. Namaari gently rubbed the palm of her hand across Raya's cheek and said, "So are you excited about the introductory party?"

"I'm kinda nervous and excited at the same time" said Raya as she leaned her head more onto Namaari.

"Don't worry, I'll be by your side."

"I hope they don't ask anything such as us dancing or any of that..."

"That'll probably be for our wedding." said Namaari.

Raya blushed at the thought of them getting married. She felt amazing that she'll spend the rest of her life with the one person she has fallen so deeply for. Her chill personality, their shared love of dragons, how caring and considerate she is, her courage and bravery...yup... Those are all that Raya needed. And she found her match. Their likes, dislikes and personalities complimented each other. And let's not leave out how hot Namaari is. That undercut, those back muscles, her biceps... PHEW! Raya's in some serious luck here....

"I'd kiss you right now." the words slowly escaped Raya's mouth while being deep in thought.

"What's stopping us?" asked Namaari as she ran her fingers through Raya's soft hair.

"The dragonsss?" said Raya, stating the obvious.

"That can't stop me. I'm getting used to public affection."

Raya blushed as she turned to face Namaari. She sat in the space between Namaari's legs which were apart. Namaari held her close and as Raya secured her arms around Namaari's neck, Pranee saw and gasped at them. She felt like her organs ignited as she witnessed the unfolding romance. Sisu saw her hyperactive behaviour and said, "W-what's wrong?"

Pranee motioned her head to the couple and Sisu too gasped in awe. Soon, all the dragons stared in awe and shock. When Namaari glanced in their direction, she quickly stared back into Raya's eyes as a wave of shyness hit her. Instead of kissing her, she embraced Raya and whispered, "The dragons are watching us...I can't..."

"Says dep la who earlier said the dragons couldn't stop her from public affection." teased Raya.

Maybe she felt so bold because her back was against the dragons. The only person in sight was just Namaari, her lover. She caressed Namaari's face and then whispered, "Look into my eyes dep la. Don't mind them."

Namaari did as Raya said. Raya slowly leaned in for a gentle kiss. In a few seconds, their lips rested on each other. The sensation made Namaari's heart pound, increased her breathing rate and caused her to slightly tremble. She blocked out the shyness by closing her eyes and just gave into Raya's kiss. 

On the other hand, the dragons were freaking out in awe as they witnessed the princesses' kiss. Pengu wasn't very excited as the others but he was indeed in a bit of awe and even smiled at them.

After their kiss, Raya rested in Namaari's relaxing arms. Namaari then looked at the dragons and smiled. Sisu  play-fainted on Amba and said, "Oh the heat from this romance is so hot! TOO hot!!"

"That kiss must've been the greatest thing Raya's experienced." said Jagan.

"Oh yess! It was so majestic! Hands down, Kumandra has the best couple yet! I'm dying for the wedding!" said Pranee.

Raya heard their remarks and blushed as she buried her head deeper in Namaari's chest.

After a while, they started packing up and were ready to head back to the palace. It was approaching sunset and Raya and Namaari didn't want to miss out on dinner. As they neared the palace, Raya felt so tempted to find out the outfit her Ba had for her. She felt so anxious and was restless the entire time.

This has got to be the most adorable relationship yet! Can't wait for that party. I wonder how the couple will dress... hmmm
