Soo-Jin
Soo-Jin looked up in disbelief. Did she just hear this right? Had the name, that had been echoing in her mind ever since that wicked night, really just been called? Hastily she said goodbye to the nurses and rushed down the hallway towards the elevators. Inside it her finger lingered over the buttons. She knew that this was borderline crazy and that it probably was a bad idea to go down this road. On the other hand, she had nothing to lose.
She tried to seem as natural as possible as she aimed towards the station where Park Yong-Hoo had been asked to. While for passerbys it looked as if she was studying the clinic map, she was eavesdropping on the reception. She was still doubting the luck of the right timing when a young man stepped towards the reception.
"Hello, I am Park Yong-Hoo. I am here to pick up a patient."
Out of the corner of her eye Soo-Jin could tell that the man was tall and had broad shoulders underneath his leather jacket. Her heart skipped a beat when their eyes met, although the man did not really seem to notice.
She didn't want to be superficial but he was just another level of handsome. The man walked into the direction that the woman at the reception had pointed, ignoring her very obvious heart eyes.
The floor was rather wide, so that Soo-Jin only had to shift a little to still be able to see what the man was doing. A doctor and a priest stepped towards him. They were too far away for Soo-Jin to hear what they were saying, but the patient Park Yong-Hoo had mentioned seemed to be the priest, whose face was covered in bruises and head wrapped in a white bandage. The priest seemed younger then his companion, which could also be due to his soft features. He silently stared at his feet while the doctor and Park Yong-Hoo talked.
Soo-Jin nearly jumped, when they turned around and walked her way, only to pass her by to get to the elevators. Nervoulsy she bit her lip. What should she do now, follow them? She felt weird at the thought of following a priest around. Something forced her to move towards the elevators as well. Technically it was not the priest she was following, right?
