***Crack***

Amos closed his eyes and gritted his teeth as he stepped on a twig and hoped that no one heard it cracked.

It's not like it made a very loud sound but to someone who is trying not to get caught running away the sound is more than loud enough.

"I'm sorry Ariana." He whispered into the silent night. "It's not that I do not trust your judgement...it's just that I can not trust them. Specially not him."

Amos creeped into the dark. Trying to blend in to the shadows of the trees with his arms outstretched.

He's trying to feel his way around him, looking for the edge of the border. He's planning to do what Ariana had done before. He will open the border without anyone being alarmed, just enough for him to get out.

No matter what kind of life it is waiting for him put there, alone, out cast, always on the run, it's still better than having a life depending on people he can never trust to protect him. He would rather die, even if it meant undoing everything Ariana had done for him.

After a few more moments his fingers finally felt it, a tingle, like a very small spark of electricity in his fingers, that's what he was looking for. The border. It was invisible to the naked eye but with the kind of power he now holds, he could see a very very clear and transparent sheet infront of him. Like a sheet of gigantic transparent sheet of paper enveloping a vast amount of space starting from the ground to as high as the sky above him.

Closing his eyes, Amos gently laid both his hands into it and a second later a small hole shaped like a door formed infront of him. Amos opened his eyes and smiled. It really did feel different now, the energy he could feel radiating in his bones. He didn't want this power, it cost him his family. But there is nothing he can do about all that now.

Amos took one foot out of the border but a moment later something pushed him outside the border making him land hard on his face and he could feel something heavy pinning him down to the ground.

Whatever it is it was heavy and moving. Grunting even.

"Ouch that hurt."

He heard the voice say, a very familiar voice. Amos looked back and up to the person on top of him and his eyes turned wide.

"Belle?!"

Belled grinned at Amos' shocked looked and said.

"Hey Amos, going somewhere?"

= 0 =

"What are you doing?" Amos asked a little bit annoyed. He pushed himself up making Belle stand up and get out of his way.

"I could ask you the same." Belle said brushing herself up to remove the dirt in her.

"Go back Belle." Amos said. "Go inside the border. Now!"

Amos pointed at the still open hole of the border and glaring at Belle.

But Belle did not listen, instead she narrowed her eyes at Amos crossed her arms in her chest and said.

"No!"

"Belle!"

"You are not going anywhere without me."

Amos is starting to lose his patience. He needs to go before anyone notices what he has done to the border and specially before Xander starts looking for Belle.

"I can't stay here." He said almost pleading.

"Fine you can go." Belle said making Amos look at her surprised.
