"This is bad! The office was full of parent's complaints! It looks like the news reached them. They were all furious! They wanted Becky to be expelled from school. They are also filing for sir Liam's withdrawal from his position!" hinihingal na wika ng kaklase kong si Clark

Gulat akong napatayo mula sa aking kinauupuan.

"W-What did you say? Are you c-certain?" tanong ko sa nanginginig na boses.

Tumango ito. "I'm telling the truth. See it for yourself, nagkakagulo na sa baba."

Napalunok ako at napaatras. I really thought... everything was already at place but... it gets much messy. I didn't see this coming. I think... L's authority and power won't do anything to solve this matter. Lalo na't... marami ang kumukontra sa relasyon namin ngayon.

I looked around and saw my classmate's faces. Some of them looks troubled and worried, some were pleased and it seems like they enjoy this moment. I think... some of them despises me already. But why? Sobrang big deal ba sa kanila na boyfriend ko ang professor namin?

My eyes watered at the sight of them. Agad akong dinaluhan nina Nicole.

"Everything's going to be alright." she whispered in a soft voice.

"Attention!"

Nagulat ang lahat nang marinig ang biglang pag-anunsiyo mula sa speaker system ng school.

Kumunot ang aking noo. Ano na naman 'to?

"Everyone is called to gather in the covered court within five minutes for a very important announcement. I repeat, no one shall be left inside the classroom except your things, dean's orders."

Bigla akong kinabahan. What's with the announcement? Does this have something to do with us? Mae-expel na ba ako? And... what will happen to L?

Unti-unting nagsisilabasan ang aking mga kaklase. Tulala akong nakatingin sa labasan ng pinto. I'm scared to even take a step. So many people are going to be there. They'll judge me, for sure. They'll humiliate me for having a relationship with my professor. They'll witness my downfall. But... I shouldn't care, right? Pumayag ako sa ganitong set-up. Right from the start, alam ko ang magiging kahihinatnan nito.

But now, here I am. I can't help but feel anxious.

"Becky, let's go." aya ng aking mga kaibigan na ngayon ay naghihintay parin sa'kin. Worry was etched in their faces.

I sighed. I don't have a choice but to follow them.

When we arrived at the covered court, it was in full chaos. A bunch of parents were there. I can hear their laments and complaints.

My eyes widened when I saw my mom among the crowd. Agad siyang lumapit nang makita niya ako.

"Mom! What are you doing here!?" gulantang kong tanong

"The office called me."
Lumapit siya at bumulong. "How did everyone know? I thought you're being careful?"

I nervously bit my lower lip. "W-We... intentionally exposed our relationship in public."

Umawang ang kanyang bibig na para bang hindi makapaniwala sa sinabi ko. "You... what!?"

I looked down.

"Nag-iisip ba kayo!? Look around, things are out of your hold."

My eyes watered. "I'm sorry, mommy."

Nalulungkot ako sa mga nangyayari pero... hindi ko pinagsisisihan ang naging desisyon namin at ang naging kahihinatnan nito. I'm even glad that everyone knows that I'm dating sir Liam Lim, their most adored professor. Therefore, they should bear in their mind that I own him.
