"Be good to her while I'm not around."

Parang gusto kong matawa. He's overprotective that he acts like a father. Pakiramdam ko para  akong isang batang inihahabilin niya sa mga malilikot na bata.

Marami sa mga kaklase ko ang nanlumo. They don't like the idea that L is leaving from his position.

"Ayaw po namin sa matandang panot na prof. He's boring, we won't learn much from him. Gusto po namin ikaw, sir."

They all complained and gave him reasons not to leave. However, L only stared at them with creased forehead and straight face. I know this look, mukhang naiirita na yata siya. I bet magsusungit na naman ito.

"It looks like you've completely forgotten that you're still in my class. Sinabi ko bang mag-ingay kayo!?"

As usual, isang bulyaw lang ni prof ay agad na silang tumahimik. Nang makaalis si L ay saka lamang sila muling nag-ingay.

"Hayy... mamimiss ko ang kasungitan ni sir." maktol ng babae kong kaklase na sinundan ng iba.

"Pagkatapos ng Christmas break kapag back to school na ulit, talagang mawawalan na ako ng ganang pumasok."

"Sayang, we're not friends with him even on facebook. Naka-private kasi account ni sir."

"Kainggit si Becky. Prof Liam really loves her. He cares for her a lot. I wonder what it feels like to be in her shoes."

Napailing ako at mas binilisan ang pagliligpit ng aking gamit. I put the rest of my things inside my bag and immediately went out of the room with my friends.

During lunch time ay kasama ko ang aking mga kaibigan. Well, it's been a while since the last time I had lunch with them.

The day ended fine. Like the normal set-up, L would bring me home after the long exhausting day from school and kiss me goodbye after then.

Ang mga sumunod na araw ay advantage para sa'kin. I can get to sleep the entire day if I want, no need to set my alarm early in the morning. It's also nice that I'm stress free from homeworks and projects even just for a while.

Ngayon ay maaga akong nagising dahil may lakad kami ni L. We're going out for a date and I'm excited. I wore a simple elegant dress matched with pink sneakers. Kinulot ko ang dulo ng aking buhok at hinayaan itong nakalugay. I stared at my reflection in the mirror. Napangiti ako, I think I'm ready to go.

I grabbed my sling bag and instantly went out of my room. I took the stairs on my way down. My eyes widened as I took the last step of the stairs. Umawang ang aking bibig nang tuluyan nang makababa. I don't know what to react just by looking at the sight in front of me.

"What the..." I mumbled

L and Patrick are facing each other with both the same intense gaze. Dahil matangkad si L, nakatingala si Patrick sa kanya. Napalunok ako nang makita ang bulaklak na hawak ni Patrick. I think it was for me. Gosh, this is bad, I think.

Una akong napansin ni L kaya lumapit siya sakin at binati niya ako.

"Good morning." he smiled sweetly and kissed me on the forehead.

"Becky" lumapit si Patrick kaya napatingin ako sa kanya. "May... lakad kayo?"

Alanganin akong ngumiti. "Ah, oo eh."

"Date?" he asked again.

I nodded, slowly. "Yeah."

I immediately felt bad when I saw the pain in his eyes.

"And you said you're not free to go out with me yet you're going for a date with him?" may hinanakit niyang saad.

L laughed sarcastically. "You're nothing but a friend, I'm the boyfriend."
