I couldn't wait for this dance, no one would know who I was and I was gonna take that as advantage. My twin brother didn't even know who I was so he couldn't stop me, from dancing and meeting new people.
I smiled, I wonder if fate would be on my side and let him be there. I sighed, I hoped so but he never goes to the dances. I always go for my class president duties but he always skips.
I chuckled being a badass takes a lot out of you. Or at least that what's Joe says. He and his friend have gotten so many detention and suspensions, it's a surprise they all somehow got accepted into a colleges. Of course Seth probably wiped the system, being so tech savvy and what not.
I mean Seth had taught me how to do that when we were lab partners last year. We had gotten nothing done, during that project. All we had done was talk about the most irreverent shit
I smiled as Nova came out of the bathroom her wild unruly curls had been tamed for once and curled down to her waist. Her lilac purple dress fluttered down to right above her knees, with a lace top and the bottom part of the dress also contained a few lace frills that bounced out, silver heels and a matching silver mask that had a simple jewel pattern. She looked beautiful and elegant and it was the perfect dress for her.
"Well Nova, Cole better hold on tight. Because the boys are gonna be all over you." She gave me a smile.
"Well let's get you into your dress."
I grabbed my dress which was a royal blue dress with the sequin patterns going straight upwards to the v neck and around the hem on the top was a jewel pattern. The rest of the dress was ruffled and rested right above my knees. I grabbed my black heels and black mask that covered my eyes with a similar jewel pattern as Nova's. We had picked them out together and made sure to keep them a secret from the boys.
"Are you ready?"
"Are you gonna talk to him?"
I chuckled. "Maybe, if I can find him."
"Are you gonna tell him, that it's you? Or play a Cinderella. "
I snorted. "Playing a Cinderella? That would be interesting idea."
"I'd be down for that if I didn't have my boyfriend." Nova said.
I was gonna play a Cinderella and who knows maybe I'll find my Prince Charming tonight.
