"What's your plan? To find the mystery princessa." Cole asked as he sat on the kitchen table with Joe, Seth and I.
"I honestly have no idea where to start."
"We could ask the girls." He said I shook my head.
"The bracelet fell out during math and Evie saw it and I asked her and she said she hadn't seen it before."
Joe muttered. "I swear I have seen it before. Could it be Nova's? Cole glared at us.
"No way in hell. I was with Nova all night at the dance." He said glaring at us.
"Do you remember everything?"
"Yes." I remembered every little detail.
"I think that like Dora we need to go exploring!" Joe exclaimed.
"This isn't time for jokes Joseph!"I groaned.
"Sorry. Right so now tell me what happened."
"Okay, I was by the punch bowl. And I reached out for a drink and she did at the same time and I realized that my tie was the exact same blue as her dress. So I said we were matching and then a girl in a purple dress came over and took her away and then I think Cole came over looking for Nova then after Cole left she came back. We talked for a bit more, the danced and then she left."
Cole smiled. "Nova was wearing a purple dress. It was amazing on her. I couldn't keep my eyes off her."He sighed dreamily. "I really think I love her." Joe punched him in the arm.
"Don't go soft on us now Cole." Seth teased.
"Wait, do you have a picture of the Nova in her dress?"
"Yeah? Why?"
"Let's see it maybe she was the girl in the purple dress." I said hesitantly. Cole handed me his phone and the dress looked familiar and I couldn't help but think she could be the girl in the purple dress.
"Well I mean the only person Nova was talking to was Evelyn before she found me. Do you think it could be Evie?" Seth said as Joe's head snapped in my direction as I shook my head.
"If it was Evie then why would see have said she didn't recognize the bracelet." I paused, Evie was Joe's sister and no matter what I wanted I could never have her. "I could never like her in that way." I lied. Joe's sighed as I shook my head.
"This mystery chick is doing a hell of a good job hiding." I groaned.
We heard the door shut as Evie yelled. "I swear god! Do you think he knows!"
We looked as she came into the room with Nova. When she saw us she froze. Nova smiled as she made her way to Cole. "Hey Cole." She said as he kissed her forehead.
Evie walked over and grabbed a drink from the fridge as she leaned against the door watching us.
Joe gave her a strange look. "What were you talking about?" Evie and Nova shared a look.
"Well. Nova and I. We.. Skipped a student council meeting and I was wondering if anyone noticed."
Seth and Cole let out a chuckle as Joe stared his sister down as I scoffed.
"Your the president for the juniors Evie. People are going to notice." I said as she gave me a surprised look. "Why are you lying? If they had a council meeting I would have been told I'm the vice-president for the seniors remember?"
"Right." She said. "Well we went to the frozen yogurt place and we took more toppings than we paid for and I was worried if they figured it out." She said with a grin.
"Oh. Well that's minor. It's not like you stole something."
"Well what are you guys doing?" Nova asked.
Cole chuckled. "Zach here is trying to find his princess. The only thing he has is a bracelet. Hey show the girls the bracelet." I took the bracelet with the moon charm on and showed it to them. As Joe picked it up.
"It looks so damn familiar. Doesn't it Evie?"
"No. Nope what no!" I've never seen that before." She said nervously.
"You saw it in math."
"Well that's the only time I've seen it. Hey I gotta go. Come on Nova!"
Nova sighed as she followed Evie. "Hope you find your mystery princess soon."
Evie pulled her out of the room and I knew something was going on here. But what was it? This entire thing made my head spin.
