"Who is he? Do you know? Are you going to try to find him?"
"Nova! Shut up!"
"What! I'm just asking."
"It's highly doubtful that I will sit next to Mr. Mysterious."
"Well duh it's math class. You sit next to me!"
We walked into math class as I dumped my stuff on the desk. Just as Mr. Sterling goes, "Class, why don't we mix it up a bit! Now sit where I point and no changing seats. These are your seats until I decide differently."
I sighed as I got up and made my way to the back of the class. Nova came over, "maybe I was wrong. Maybe princey will be here." She left as he called her name.
He called my name as I groaned inwardly. What half-wit would I be sitting next to? I turned to face him and I think the world stopped for just a millisecond.
It was him
Zachary Evens.
He glanced over at me. I sighed, fate you are cruel aren't you? Why couldn't he have been a nobody? Why couldn't it have been a dim-wit? Why did he have to be Joe's best friend?
"Evelyn."
"Zachary." I said quietly.
"Seems like we're partners." He grinned.
"Seems like it doesn't it?" I gave him a smile back.
I could help but feel a little déjà vu at this moment. He slid into his seat and looked up at me as I counting we to stare at him. "you going to sit or just stand there?"
"R-right. I'm going to sit." I blushed as a smirk took over his face. Breathe in and out Evie it's just Zach.
A voice inside my head scoffed. Is there even a just Zach? Zach is the boy who you've been in love with for the longest time. There is no just Zach.
Mr. Sterling spoke as he started class. "Alright, please take out your books and notebooks." I got took my stuff out as I noticed Zach's things had fallen out. I looked down and my eyes widened.
My Bracelet
Zach quickly scooped it up and put it back in his backpack.
Zach was the mystery guy?
No it couldn't be. Maybe he just found it. But why would he keep it?
I looked at him as Zach whispered. "Hey you saw the bracelet right?" I hesitated a bit before nodding. Did I want to tell him? Well now it's too late. "Do you recognize it?"
I quickly shook my head. He couldn't, he shouldn't know.
There was no way we could accept it. There was no way we could work this out.
He was Zach Evens, the idiot who held my heart. And my he just had to be my brother's best friends. I sighed as I laid my head on the table. This was going to one long class.
