OH NO JAMES, YOU DIDN'T (Harry Potter Next Generation Time Travel Fan Fiction)

Chapter Twenty-One

The kids from the future cannot contain their excitement for the event that took place the next day. After learning from Harry about their meeting that night, the kids look forward to it that they barely listened to the lectures from their teachers. Professor McGonagall has even reprimanded Louis for not paying attention to her class.

"Honestly Louis" Lucy told him while they're on their way to lunch.

That night, at exactly eight o' clock, they went to the Room of Requirement in groups.

"Whoa" James said as soon as they have entered the room. "I've never seen the room takes this appearance before."

Harry, Ron and Hermione have been there first so as to not raise suspicions should someone other than them arrive first.

"Wow! Look at all the defense instruments they've got here" Dominique said marveling at the Sneakoscope, Secrecy Sensors and Foe Glass and other instruments that lined up a shelf in the corner of the room.

"And this room also has books on defensive spells" Molly II said getting a copy of a book bearing the words Self Defensive Spellworks. "This would come in handy for the coming lessons"

"You haven't seen this room before?" Hermione asked. "But I thought you guys have been here a lot?"

"We've been here before alright" Fred II "But this room hasn't assumed this look before. We only need a room to meet so this just appears as a normal room that looks mostly like the Gryffindor common room"

"Oh-alright"  Hermione said.

There was a knock on the door and Ginny, Dean, Parvati, Neville and Lavender entered the room.

"Whoa" Dean said upon looking at the room "What is this place?" he asked.

Harry started to explain but before he finished more people have arrived and he thought it best to see that everybody has arrived before he explained everything.

"Is everybody here already?" Harry asked after the Ravenclaws arrived.

"Scorpius is not here yet" Rose said.

"The Slytherin? Why would he be going here?" Zachariah Smith asked. "Are you sure he won't blab about us?"

"He's our cousin and he would never give us away" Lucy said.

Zachariah opened his mouth to retort but Fred II cut him.

"Look mate, no one asked for your opinion, so shut your mouth." He said. Zacahariah glared at him.

"Right" Harry said. "Well I've been thinking about the stuff we ought to do first and—yes Hermione?" he asked upon seeing Hermione's raised hand.

"I think we should vote for a leader." She said.

"I thought Uncle Harry is the leader?" Hugo asked.

His female cousins gasped while Louis and Albus groaned.  Of all the time to let the truth slip, Hugo pick the moment where at least a dozen people are present. Way to go Hugo.

"Uncle?" Parvati asked. "Why are you calling Harry, uncle?"

"Are you into James and Fred's games too?" Neville asked. "You know, the one where you call anybody uncle or aunt?"

James forced out a laugh "Yeah" he said. "Me and Fred we thought it would be a laugh if more people are calling unsuspecting student uncle or mum or granddad"

"Okay" Lavender said still looking unconvinced.

"You should stop it" Lily said. "It confuse a lot of people specially if the only person you're doing that with is Harry"
