Chapter Twenty-Eight

"Teddy!" Lily yelled and ran towards her god brother.

"Hello Lily!" Teddy said as he hugged Lily. "Had a good term?" he asked Albus and James as they approach him.

"The usual" James said sounding nonchalant.

"Oh yeah?" Teddy said raising his eyebrow. "The decoy detonator did not help you raise havoc this year?"

"Oh that" James said while Albus and Lily sniggered "Didn't help much"

"Git" Teddy said but he was still smiling."C'mon we should go" he added taking Lily's trolley.

"Are we heading for Kingsley's?" Lily asked as they made their way to the barrier.

"No, we can't. The Ministry's watching the floo network right now" Teddy answered.

"Wilkins!" James said as Fred II approached them. "Are you heading home then? And who is this lovely lass you are with?" he added winking at Victoire.

"My cousin Victoire, she's half -French." Fred II said smirking.

"Ah we all should have such cousin" James said looking as if smitten. "Ouch Teddy, what was that for?" he added turning at his god brother who bump him with the trolley.

"Sorry James, lost control of the trolley." Teddy said. Lily, Albus and Roxanne sniggered.

"My god brother Teddy. He's an Auror, but not much of a friendly sort. You should be well away from him." James said to Fred II and Victoire then turns back to Teddy as the latter bump him yet again with the trolley. "Are you sure there's nothing wrong with that trolley?" he asked.

"No" Teddy said "You're just walking real slow"

"Where are we heading Vicky?" Lucy asked as they made their way outside King's Cross.

"Just around that corner. We'll take the Knight Bus to Sirius'" Victoire said.

"Aren't you going home for Christmas Mum?" Hugo asked Hermione who have been with them since the train ride from Hogsmead station.

"No. I err told them I need to study for OWLs." Hermione said "they're going skiing and I'm not much for it"

"Oh okay" Hugo said.

"This is should be safe" Teddy said who raised his wand to let out a signal. Moments later the Knight Bus skidded in front of them and Stan Shunpike opened the door.

"Welcome to the Knight Bus, emergency transport for stranded witch and wizard. Just stick your wand hand, step on board, and we can take you anywhere you want. My name is Stan Shunpike and I'll be your conductor for today." Stan said while reading his spiel from a piece of parchment.

"Honestly how can he not manage to memorize that?" Lucy hissed as they hoist their trunk "that's not even a hundred words. And to think he's been saying that to all passengers"

"Coz he can't memorize like mad as you do Lucy" Louis said.

"Or Aunt Hermione, and Rosie and Hugo" James added.

"And Al" Fred II joined "And Molly"

"Shut it" Rose said rapping Fred II in the head.

"So where are you lot heading?" Stan asked them as they seated themselves comfortably.

"The Ministry of Magic" Teddy answered. "The four of us" he added pointing at him, James, Albus and Lily.

"Us too" Dominique said pointing at her and Louis.

"How about you beautiful?" Stan asked grinning at Victoire.

"Just around the Muggle's Prime Minister's office" Victoire answered forcing a smile.

"That would be three Sickles and four Knuts each. As for those who would be dropped at the Ministry; that would be ten Sickles and thirteen Knuts." Stan said.

"Why can't we just head straight to Grimauld Place?" Roxanne asked as Stan left.

"Because that'll attract attention. With so many of us arriving at one place" Teddy answered.

"How's Mr. Weasley?" Hermione asked Victoire.

"He's fine. He's awake and actually rearing to head home. But he's not completely cured. The healers are yet to take off the bandages because the wounds bleed whenever they do that." Victoire said.

"Poor Gramps, he must be bored at St. Mungo's" Lily said.

"Well Mr. Weasley's better than Uncle Harry" Teddy commented.

"Why? What happened to Dad?" Albus asked.

"He, err overheard Mad Eye saying he might be possessed by Voldemort and now he thinks that he is being possessed" Victoire said "He's been avoiding everybody. Always staying in Buckbeak's room"

"But what made them think Dad was being possessed?" Lily asked.

"Uncle Harry was seeing things from the snake's point of view isn't he?" Louis said "That'll make you think about being possessed"

"But he was having that dream before" Hermione said "He's been having visions of what You-Know-Who's doing last year"

"And Dad really thinks he was possessed. Well, I never thought he was such a drama queen" James said sniggering.

"That's not funny James" Teddy said.

"C'mon. If he really wants to know if he's being possessed or not he should have asked Mum" James said. "Mum would know as she has been possessed by the memory of Voldemort. Not go around avoiding people. I mean, what good would it do?" he added.

"As you said, Uncle Harry was a bit of a drama queen" Fred II said nodding earning a laugh from his cousins.

"You should have talked to him Teddy" Albus said looking at Teddy.

"I haven't had time" Teddy answered "I've been covering for Mr. Wealsey at the Order and he's been in Buckbeak's room every time"

"Muggle Prime Minister's Office" Stan announced.

"C'mon you lot." Victoire said standing up. "We'll see you later" she added looking at Teddy. Molly II, Lucy, Roxanne, Fred II, Rose, Hugo and Hermione followed her.

"Good bye then, beautiful" Stan said to Victoire as he put the last trunk to the asphalt road.

"Teddy, relax" Lily said as he saw Teddy clenching his wand.

"Yeah" Louis said sounding amused. "There's no need to curse Stan"

"Next stop, Ministry of Magic" Stan announced. "Take it away Ern"

Teddy, Dominique, Louis, James, Albus and Lily arrived at the Ministry of Magic after a few minutes.

"Never will I ride that bus again" Louis said after the Knight Bus left. "The driver's giving me the creeps"

"How are we going to Grimmauld Place Teddy?" Dominique asked as they followed Teddy into a block near the Ministry.

"Dung, got us a car" Teddy said still walking. "Here we are" he said after they arrived at a corner where only a car stood in the empty street.

James, Albus, Lily, Dominique and Louis eyed the car. It was an old looking car with a few dents on the bumper.

"Dung couldn't manage to get a more decent car, could he?" Albus said.

"Yeah, I really don't fancy traveling in an old car with a horrible color. You know, I don't think violet is my color" Louis said still eyeing the car.

"Just get in" Teddy said and he began hoisting Lily's trunk into the car.

"Are you sure you know how to drive this car Teddy?" Dominique asked looking at Teddy apprehensively.

"And if he does, are we sure he can find Sirius' place?" James added.

"Get in" Teddy said forcing James into the car. "Smart ass" he muttered and made his way to the driver's seat.
