OH NO JAMES, YOU DIDN'T (Harry Potter Next Generation Time Travel Fan Fiction)

Chapter Twenty-Four

The kids from the future are excited with the prospect of seeing Hagrid. They of course have been a constant visitor on his hut during their time. But that did not diminish they excitement to see him.

"Wish we could ask him about the giants" James said.

"Does this mean he has Grawp hiding in the forest right now?" Lily said excitedly. They have met Grawp who was sort of Hagrid's assistance back in their time.

"Now Lily, don't think about getting near Grawp right now" Molly II said sternly. "He may be civilized back in our time but I don't think Hagrid has given him pointers about manners as of this time."

"Oh, right" Lily said.

But still they joined the enthusiastic greeting of welcome that the students did as soon as they saw Hagrid in the teacher's table during breakfast on Monday. James and Fred II even joined Fred, George and Lee when they sprinted to the teacher's table to wring Hagrid's hand.

"Who're yeh might be?" Hagrid asked them.

"Oh I'm James Parker and this is Fred Wilkins" James said. "We're transfers. We heard so much about you and thought we'd introduce ourselves."

"Is that so" Hagrid said.

Fred II grinned at him.

"Blimey, yeh look mightily like the Weasley twins" Hagrid said. "Are yeh related to them Weasleys or somethin'?" he asked.

"Nah, me and my cousins came from Australia" Fred II answered, thickening his accent.

"Oh right" Hagrid said. "Well, I remember a James too, but he's a Potter but yeh remind me so much abou' him"

"Really?"  James said smiling. It was what Hagrid always say to him. That he was like a carbon copy of the first James Potter. This always makes him smile and feel proud.

"Yeah, but he was gone. We have his son in 'ere though. That Harry Potter there in the Gryffindor table." Hagrid said.

"Yeah, we know him." James said.

"Well. I'll see yeh in class then" Hagrid said. "Got somethin' prepared for me firs' class" He waved cheerily over to where Harry, Ron and Hermione are and strode towards the door. 

James, Fred II and Roxanne shared Hagrid's Care of Magical Creatures class with the Slytherin in which Hagrid taught about Thestrals. Umbridge came to inspect and it was apparent that she was trying to have Hagrid sacked with her successful attempt of making Hagrid lose his confidence in teaching.

Meanwhile, Albus, Rose and Scorpius, during a free class stayed cooped up in a free classroom. Scorpius apologized again for his father's actions during the match.

"Look Scorp, drop it" Albus said. "You're not responsible for his actions. He's been defeated yet again so naturally he would try to avenge himself."

Scopius heaved a sigh "I am really confused right now. He's far from the person I know. I know he was not famous for his actions during this time, but I didn't know it was this worse. I don't know how your family can accept him after all he's done" he said. It was painful for him to see how his dad behaves.

"Dad said your father changed mate" Albus said. He too has been finding it hard to believe that Scorpius' dad and the Draco Malfoy that they're seeing now is the same person.

Scorpius heaved a sigh "At the rate he's going I can't see Mum marrying him without him spiking her drink with a love potion or threatening her"

Rose and Albus laughed.

"I am serious" Scorpius said indignantly. "He dismisses her as she was an annoyance and she loathes him. Not that I blame her. I can see Dad marrying Auntie Daphne more than my Mum."
