Chapter Twenty-Five

"What do you mean your mum knows?!?" Molly II exclaimed.

The kids from the future are in the Room of Requirement. Scorpius has just finished telling them about Astoria learning the truth.

"Err yeah. She overheard us yesterday" Scorpius said sheepishly.

"And? Did you somehow modify her memory?" Roxanne asked.

"We don't know how, that's NEWTS level" Rose said. "That's why I came looking for Molly or Dom but you were in class. By the time I went back, she's gone back to her common room"

"Look, there's no need to modify her memory. She won't go telling everybody about it." Scorpius said.

"How can we be sure?" Lucy asked.

"You know his Mum" Louis said. "She won't do something that would make her like Auntie Luna. "

"Exactly what she said when we told her we have to erase her memory" Albus said. "Nearly took my head off"

"But we need to erase her memory" Molly II said. "The more people knows the more we are in danger"

"What do you suggest we do? Stun her and bring her here before we modify her memory?" Dominique asked.

"That's an idea" James said.

"You can't do that" Lily said. "It would draw attention. What if Umbridge saw us dragging her?"

Fred II snorted.

"Lily, we can't do it because it's a terrible thing to do." Lucy said.

"Oh.. Is that so? I thought it was an idea" Lily said.

"Maybe we should talk with her again" Hugo said. "Maybe she was still in shock about what she heard that's why she wouldn't hear any of your arguments. Talk to her and try to wear her down a bit."

His cousins just look at him.

"What?" he asked, uneasy with the attention he was getting.

"Hugo for the first time in your life, you said something that made sense" Rose said still looking at his brother.

"Yeah, yeah" Hugo said.

"You should try it again Scorp" Roxanne said.

"Why me?" Scorpius asked.

"Uh since you're his son and you can sweet talk her about anything" Albus said.

 "Trust me, it would take much more than sweet talk to have her approval on modifying her memory" Scorpius said. 

"We still think you should try it again" Molly II said sternly.

"Well since you asked nicely" Scorpius drawled.

"I still think stunning her was a better idea" Lily said.

"That's because you always resort to more barbaric measures Lils" Albus said.

"So? It makes the job done" Lily retorted.

"You're a bit scary, do you know that?" Louis said looking at his youngest cousin. Lily just smiled at him sweetly.

"Okay" James said standing up "now that the serious talk is over, Fred and I will get going, we have a very important business to do"

Fred II grinned. "Yeah"

"Where are you going?" Roxanne asked "We have Umbridge this afternoon"

"Well, we are ditching her class" Fred II said.
