Chapter Thirty-Eight

"Are we going to call Dad again today?" Lily asked Molly II as the latter descend the stairs from her dormitory.

"We have to try again" Molly II answered. They tried contacting their parents in the future before their last DA meeting but no reply came.

"Wonder what they're doing" Hugo said.

Lily shrugged.

"Have you seen James and Fred?" Roxanne asked as she approached them.

"No" Lily and Hugo said in unison

"Come to think of it" Molly II said "I haven't seen them since yesterday morning"

"Exactly" said Roxanne "they ditch all of our classes yesterday but they weren't in the hospital wing". The only time James and Fred II ditch classes for an entire day was when they were in the hospital wing for a prank gone wrong.

"Wonder what they're up to" she continued feeling slightly put out because she wasn't included in whatever plan her twin and cousin is brewing.

"Are you talking about James and Fred?" said Lucy as she approach her cousins.

"Yes. Have you seen them?" Molly II asked her little sister.

"Louis and I seen them with Uncle Fred and Uncle George yesterday" answered Lucy "they were heading to the Hufflepuff's common room"

"The Huff's common room?" Roxanne repeated "What are they doing there? Are they trying to get even with Zacharias Smith?"

"Dunno" Lucy shrugged.

"Are we having a meeting?" said an approaching Dominique.

"No. C'mon let's get breakfast" Molly II said.

"What's going on?" Hugo asked as they notice the students standing up and looking over the Slytherin table.

"Whoever did it must get all the points for their house" they heard a student said in between snigger.

"That was genius" another said.

"Looks like the Weasley twins' work for me" said another.

"What's happening?" Lily asked no one in particular.

Then as if the students heard her, they parted a little bit and Lily's mouth opened in shock. Some of the Slytherins hair grew so thick they resembled a lion.

"Bloody hell" Hugo said.

"Language Hugo" Rose said automatically although she too looked shocked and amused.

"Fred and James" Roxanne said in between laughs.

"I think our dear Uncles Fred and George are behind this too" Louis commented laughing.

"This is so hilarious" Lucy said surprising her cousins as she laugh openly at the Slytherins who were shrieking in panic as their hair grow rapidly.

A moment later, a loud shriek emanated from the middle of the chaos and soon, Pansy Parkinson came yelling manically as the hair in her eyebrow thickened. She was holding the end of her eyebrows as if to stop it from growing so fast. The students watch her in between snorts of amusement and look of apprehension.

"Silence!" said a booming voice from the teacher's table. Students parted as Dumbledore and the rest of the teachers move to the Slytherin table.

"Professor" Pansy said hysterically "It won't stop growing"

"Calm yourself, Ms. Parkinson" McGonagall said "the charm would not cause any harm"

"What happened" Dumbledore asked calmly.
