OH NO JAMES, YOU DIDN'T (Harry Potter Next Generation Time Travel Fan Fiction)

Chapter Sixteen

The news about Umbridge not letting Harry off from detention doesn't please Angelina and ended up with her taking Harry's head off in front of everybody in the Great Hall. It was Friday  and Harry has been serving detention for days now. The redness in his hands haven't gone off and the words i must not tell lies are visible. 

"You still got to try though" Ron said. He still thinks Harry ought to try and ask Umbridge once again to let Harry off from doing the detention.

"Fat chance mate" Harry said darkly. "I do hope she lets me off early this time. I'm way behind in homeworks."

"You can copy mine dad" James said "I'm only joking Aunt Hermione" he added quickly upon seeing the scowl on Hermione's face.

"Well good luck today on your tryouts Ron" Harry said.\

"Yeah.. well.. errr" Ron said his ears reddening. Ron has been practicing in secrets until Harry found out while he was going to the Gryffindor tower from detention. 

"You'll do well Dad" Hugo said encouragingly. 

"Besides you'll get in" Hermione said.

"How do you know?" Harry asked.

Hermione let out  huff and said "James said while we are in Grimauld place that Hugo is a brilliant keeper and he takes after his- his dad" she finished lamely. A faint blush creeping on her face.

"And Uncle Ron's still brilliant even in our time" Louis added..

"I am?" Ron asked dumbly.

"Yeah" Louis nodded. "The tryouts now should be a piece of cake."

Ron morale seemed to be uplifted. Harry on the other hand has been sullier than ever seeing as he won't see his bestfriend play. 

"What's that on your hand Harry?" asked Ginny as she got on a seat next to Harry.

"Nothing" Harry said hastily as he tried to hide his hand.

But Ginny's faster as she caught his hands and look at it closely. "What happened?" she asked again as she saw the faint scar and the redness in Harry's hand.

"Err nothing" Harry said squirming at the look that Ginny is giving him. 

"You didn't have these before you take that detention with Umbridge" Ginny said sternly it reminded Harry of Mrs. Weasley. "What have you been doing with that woman?" 

"Err..lines?" Harry said then quickly added when a scowl formed in Ginny's face "Look Ginny its nothing. I swear"

They remained silent after with Ginny still holding Harry's hands. Until..

"Hem.. hem" Ron cleared his throat. His ears reddening.

Ginny on the other hand seemed to realize she's still holding Harry's hand and let go of it quickly. She began piling food on her plate.

"Erm. I think I forgot my Transfiguration book in the dormitory" Harry said standing up. "I'll see you guys in class" He then left the Great Hall quickly unable to stand the sly smiles that the kids from the future have.

By fifteen minutes before five, Harry bade his friends good bye--and Ron, good luck and made his way to Umbridge's office. The Gryffindors on the other hand made their way to the Quidditch pitch anxious about the Keeper's tryout.

"Wish we could tryout" Fred II muttered.

"Yeah" Roxanne agreed. then added "Hey maybe we could"

"Huh?" Fred II said.

"You know, when Umbridge ban Dad and Uncle Fred after their first match" Roxanne said.
