Chapter Fourteen

While the kids get to know more of their parents and met the people that they only get to hear about in their parent's stories, Victoire stayed with her Dad and Grandparents at the Burrow.

"Good morning Dad, Gran" Victoire greeted as she entered the kitchen.

"Good morning dear" Moly saidn smiling. "Tea?"

"Thank you" Victoire said and sit down "Gramps already gone for work?" she asked.

"Yeah, got a report about a kettle that tries to bite whoever puts water in it down in Surrey" Bill said while reading the Prophet.

"Oh, I forgot that's Gramps work during this time" Victoire said.

"Why? Isn't it Arthur' job in the future?" Molly asked putting down a mug of tea and a plate of toast in front of Victoire.

"No" Victoire said after taking a sip of her tea "He works closely now with Minister Kingsley" 

"Arthur?" Molly asked.

"Yep" Victoire said "So is Aunt Audrey, Uncle Percy's wife"

"How about Percy?" Bill said.

"Uncle Percy works for the Department of International Magical Cooperation. He travels a lot and usually takes Molly II and Lucy with him and Aunt Audrey." Victoire said.

"How was your cousins?" Molly ask.

"Well, they're a riot" Victoire said and let out a laugh "Rather we all are. Gramps said we are the reason for his white hairs"

Bill laughed "From what I've seen before the terms started, riot is an understatement"

"Yes Dad" Victoire said. "My cousins loves to prank. Specially Fred II and James. They're master of it"

"Tell me more about them" Molly said eagerly.

"Well to start, Dom and Molly are really close, they're of the same age. Dom's very outgoing and somewhat boyish. Dad love's that about her. Said he doesn't need to worry about boys swarming around Dom. Me and my  siblings got the veela blood from my Maman's side. She plays Quidditch for Gryffindor team. And her greatest goal right now is to become a curse breaker like Dad." Victoire said. Bill smiled. "You let her go with you to your work one day. She babbles the whole day of why your job is the coolest in the world."

Bill laughed. "A girl after my heart"

"Molly is very responsible. She helps me a lot in reigning our cousins when they get out of hand. But she has a very short temper. As you have seen, she tends to throw whatever she had on her hands whenever somebody annoys her. One time, she throw a whole pie at one of her classmate because she was annoyed of his questions." Victoire said and joined her father as he laugh.

"Really?" Moly said. "That girl, she could've hurt her classmate"

"The whole Great Hall laughed at him. Molly got apprehended though." Victoire said. "But all in all, you can rely with Molly. She's responsible and most of our cousins look up to her and is afraid of her. Lucy, her sister, adores her. Well Molly does too." 

Victoire take a bite of her toast and continue "James and Fred as you can see are pranksters. They are my cousins enemy for they love to prank them. Sundays during school break are always a ruckus."

"It doesn't help that the twins are with them" Molly said.

Victoire chuckled "That's true. Aunt Angie used to scold Uncle George for giving them prank products from the shop. But Fred and James are really brilliant at magic. McGonagall and the Hogwarts professors are actually frustrated at them because they don't put their talents to good use. Now Roxanne may look angelic to you, but she's not. Really. Living with Uncle George and Fred makes her a brilliant prankster. And she usually gets out of it. "
