Chapter Twenty-Six

"It's not fair!" Lily said loudly "How come Roxanne and Fred got to have their own broom!"

Just after breakfast, a parcel arrived for Fred II and Roxanne containing their broomsticks. The both of them have sent a letter to Victoire and Teddy begging them to buy them decent broomsticks for them to be able to try out for the Beaters position now that the Weasley twins were banned from playing.

"I told you Lils, because we wanted to try out for Quidditch. And as the school's broomsticks fly slower than a butterfly, we can't use them." Roxanne said.

""And to tell you the truth, this is not actually a good model" Fred II said looking down at his new Comet Two-Sixty broomstick.

"It's better than Uncle Ron's though" James said.

"Yeah" Louis nodded "That Cleensweep Seven ought to be in a museum."

"It's a good thing Keeeper's doesn't fly much" Hugo said. "Else, Dad would always be left behind"

His cousins laughed.

The Gryffindor Quidditch hopefuls went to the Quidditch pitch on Saturday morning as well as supporters and Quidditch fans. Fred II and Roxanne went to the pitch with Ginny while the rest of their cousins went to the bleachers.

"It's a good thing Teddy have brought you a broom. At least we can see how you play" Ginny said.

"Yeah, it's not a good model though" Roxanne said.

"But that's a Comet Two-Sixty" Ginny said. "That's actually a good model"

"Really?" Roxanne said "We use Lightning during our time. Faster and better than a Firebolt"

"Really?" Ginny said. "I've actually never ridden a Firebolt"

"Don't worry you'll use it during your stint as a Chaser for the Harpies." Fred II said. "Anyway, want to use my broom for your try out?" he added.

"Can I?" Ginny asked. "I mean, I can pretty much ride well enough with my own broom but yours is way faster than mine"

"Sure" Fred II said.

Just then, Angelina called for those who would try for Beaters.

"See you then" Fred II and Roxanne both said waving at Ginny.

"Good luck" Ginny said.

After the try outs, Fred II and Roxanne out flown all the competitions and Angelina as well as the rest of the team seemed to be pleased with their performance. It's as if they never lost the Weasley twins as beaters. Ginny also became the new Seeker after catching the snitch ten minutes after it was let lose.

"Congratulations" Albus said to Ginny as they meet her and their twin cousins at the castle entrance. "You fly really well"

"Thanks" Ginny said. "Fred's broomstick helped a lot"

"It was really good" Lily said.

"Thank you" Ginny said. "Although I really preferred Chaser. I reckon I would try out once Harry gets back to the team"

"Umbridge" Lucy said. They looked up to the stair case and spotted Umbridge and Filch. Filch is holding what seems like a new notice.

"C'mon let's get out of their way" Molly said herding her cousins away from the staircase.

"Just over right here Mr. Filch" came Umbridge sweet and high voice. "I want that notice be seen before the holiday break."

"Right you are Madam" Filch said.
