Chapter Twenty-Seven

"What's up?" Louis asked as he saw his cousins in a huddle in the common room.

It was the day after their last meeting for the Dumbledore's Army.

"It's Gramps" Lucy answered. "He was attacked by Nagini last night."

 "Oh" Louis said sitting down. "Is he okay?"

"He's in St. Mungo's right now" Molly II said.

"Lucky Uncle Harry saw it in his dreams" Dominique said.

"Yeah" Rose agreed. "If he hasn't Gramps would be dead."

"Luckier, no death eaters saw him last night" Hugo said.

"Have you seen Harry and Ron?" Hermione asked them as she saw them huddled.

The kids exchanged looks.

"They're at Grimmauld Place Mum." Rose said.

"Grimmauld Place?" Hermione asked. "Why?"

"Err, Gramps was attacked last night by Nagini. You know, Voldemort's snake" Albus said.

"Attacked?!? How? Why?" Hermione exclaimed.

"He was on Order's duty last night, guarding something and he was attacked" Roxanne said.

"Guarding something?" Hermione asked. "What's he guarding?"

"We can't tell you" Albus said.

"Oh" Hermione said "Okay. But is Mr. Weasley aright?"

"Err, we're still waiting for Victoire's letter. We sent her an owl this morning. We guessed since she's working at St. Mungo's she would know." Roxanne said.

"We can't risk asking Dad. By now Umbridge must have known they're gone. She'll be livid." Molly II added.

"That would be Vick's reply" Fred II said pointing at the owl flying towards the common room.

James stood and opened the window. Once he got the letter, the owl spread its wings and flew off.

"Gramps is okay. The healers treated his wounds immediately. But as the snake's poisonous, he'll be spending Christmas at St. Mungo's. I've been in his ward to check up on him. Dad's there and the rest of the family will be here later. He's okay. He's still not awake but the healers said he'll be okay. I'll check on him in a while. Be careful you lot and do not mess with Umbridge. Lots of love, Victoire" James read.

"I'm glad Gramps is okay" Lily said.

"Of course he'll be okay." James said. "It would take more than Nagini to take down Gramps."

"C'mon we should go down for breakfast" Molly II said.

"Good idea" Fred II said. "I'm starving"

"You're always hungry Freddie" Louis said catching the eyes of two fourth years and making them blush.

"Stop it Louis" Lucy said. "Honestly"

Louis chuckled. "Sorry Luce, I was just practicing"

They went down to Great Hall.

"Hold it" Dominique said as they were turning left to go to the Great Hall.

"What?" James said.

"Umbridge" Dominique said.

Sure enough, they saw Umbridge and McGonagall who appears to be in a heated discussion.

"I'm telling you Dolores, Arthur Weasley was gravely injured. The Headmaster sees it only right to let the Weasleys go and make sure their head of the family is alright." McGonagall said.
