The Prince and his Guard

Into the flower medow we go.

(Anna p.o.v)

"You know Anna, I'm quite glad I met you." Emil suddenly told as we walked through the forest.
"We would have met sooner or later, with our family's being connected."
"Yes that is true. But knowing about you and your family is certainly different from knowing you."
"How so?"
"Because I have learnt that no one could ever replace you as being by my side. I wouldn't have known that if I didn't get to know you, and I'm glad that I do." He told making me smile.
"I'm glad I know you as well Maxemil."
"Anna."
"I only kid, your highness." I stated making him smile.
'He truely is the best.'
We soon found Teddy walking his robot in the woods and I gave a worried look.
"I feel like he truely needs to make actual friends." I stated making Emil smile.
"That's why he has us."
We watched Teddy for a bit and he began to talk to himself.
'Oh dear.'
"You know, now that we are actually getting work done...the woods are kinda peaceful." He said making me give a small smile that he was now enjoying it.
I went to say something to Emil but before I could he ran over to Teddy making me follow after him.
"Salmon Tail!" Emil shouted as he crouched down and slapped Teddys calves with his hands making him throw the controller.
'The moment is definitely ruined.'
"Dude what are you doing? I came here to be alone!" Teddy shouted.
"That sounds quite upsetting, Teddy."
"Well that's why I'm here with Anna of course. So we can be alone together."
"You better hope you didn't scratch up my controller." Teddy told him.
"Do not worry. I will get it and everything will be...." he began before he was cut of by a crushing noise.
I put my hand to my mouth as Teddy pulled up his now broken robot hanging by wires.
"You destroyed Rob!" He screamed.
"On the plus side. Your controller is unscathed." Emil said picking it up and showing us the remote.
"I'm so sorry about that Teddy." I told as I slightly removed my hand from my mouth.
"Oh I will make this up to you Teddy. Ooh, I know! There is a meadow of Wildflowers just down there. I could pick you a bouquet for my bro... A BROUQUET!" He exclaimed.
"Seriously?! That is the..... best idea I've ever heard. You know that would certainly cheer me up." He informed getting his controller back.
"Last one there's a Fetid Pig!" Emil shouted before running off.
'That boy surely does not wait for me.'
Before I could rush after him Teddy said something that made me stop.
"Brouquet, no way." He stated making me turn to look at him.
"You know Teddy. He is being nice, and you certainly aren't giving him a chance."
"He is ruining my year. I don't need friends. I would rather be alone with my robots at home then here."
"Is he ruining your year? Or have you just been that alone that you do not even remember what it is like to have a friend?" I asked before leaving to find Emil.
I walked through the path till I was greeted by the field of flowers.
'Wow. This is truely an amazing sight.'
"Anna!" Emil exclaimed making me turn to look to see him rushing towards me. "Look at all these wonderful flowers. It is absolutely stunning."
"It truely is. I do not know which is better, this field or the garden at the castle."
"Here. I found this flower and thought of you." He told handing me a Dahlia flower.
"Emil you did not need to do this for me."
"I know. But I wanted to. As a thank you for being supportive as much as you can with this."
"It's lovely Emil. Thank you." I told giving him a quick kiss on the cheek.
"Of course. I still have some flowers to collect for Teddy if you wanted to join me."
"Of course Emil."
We walked off into the field and I ended up creating a few flower crowns for us to have with Teddy and Sydney once we returned. I kept the flower Emil gave to me on my ear as Emil went jumping around to collect Teddy flowers.
"Anna, what are you making?" He asked as he finally joined my side on the ground.
"Flower crowns."
"I didn't know you could make them."
"My mother taught me and Tati. Every now and then during the flower festivals and I don't have to guard you, the three of us make flower crowns for the whole family as well as yours."
"Has it always been you that made mine?"
"Of course. It was sort of agreed on that I would make yours, Tati makes Alex and Joosep, and my mother makes my our parents. I would also make our three first since it seemed fair."
"You know, I actually keep them for as long as I can till they are falling apart."
"You do?"
"Of course. I love each and every one of them. Why do you think I always take photos of the two of us wearing our flower crowns?"
"Because you enjoy sneaking photos of us together when they are unofficial."
"That as well. But I always used them as a way to remember the festival as well as the crown I was always given."
"That's very sweet Emil." I told before placing his on his head. "Perfect."
"Thank you Anna. I love it."
"What is a prince without his crown?" I quietly asked making us both smile and chuckle.
"Shall we head back to Teddy?"
"We shall."
I collected the flower crowns and Emil made sure he had all his flowers, before we walked off side by side to join Teddy's side again.
'This certainly has turned into a great camping trip so far.'
