(Anna p.o. )

I was watching from the couch with Regina as Emil bowled, which surprisingly he got his first strike, I quickly got up and went over making me see he had an upset look.
"Oh, no."
"What's wrong Emil?" I asked making him look at me and Regina.
"I've knocked them all down and left none for you." He told mostly to Regina.
"No, no, Emil, that's great." She told.
"You want to knock them all down." I added.
"You're a natural." She stated cheering Emil up.
"Reminds me of the game we play with my siblings." I told making Regina slightly confused.
"Well, it is very similar to Moose Scutting." Emil told.... Though that did not really help lessen the confusion.
"Mm, what?"
"You know, the popular Buronian sport," Emil began before I jumped in with him and we both pretended to bowl.
"Where you roll cabbages through the legs of a hungry moose."
"Really? That's popular?" She questioned with the confusion not leaving her face.
"Yes. My mother usually beats us."
"She can just always get it just perfect." Emil added.
"A talent I wish I had."
"You have many talents already, Anna."
"Like what?"
"You help rein me in and have me focus when no one else can."
"You are just easily distracted, it's easy to work out how to get you focused."
"You two make the weirdest friends." Regina told
"Is that a complement?" Emil whispered to me
"I have no clue." I whispered back making Regina laugh as Teddy rushed over.
"Hey! So, I cleared my schedule and I can take over now." Teddy explained.
'He must really want to do this with his mother.'
"Oh honey, I told you it's no big deal." Regina explained. "Besides, Emil is really good. He got a strike on his first try."
"And it was easy. The trick is to aim for the pins." He told as he pointed to said pins.
'I feel this is just hurting Teddy.'
"You know what? We might actually have a chance of winning this year." She told before looking towards a father and daughter pair. "You're going down, Dirksens!"
"That was unexpected." I stated as Emil nodded and the two just waved.
"Very."
"Well, I'm glad you're having fun in my bowling shirt. And in my bowling shoes." He told before seeing the bowl roll up making him rush and grab it. "Wait, is this my bowling ball?"
"Yes." Emil excitedly told. "I am sorry if it is getting all scuffed up from knocking down so many pins."
"Well, it's not your ball. It's my ball, and she's always been my ball. So why don't you get your own ball?"
"You have said ball too many times in the last four minutes." I stated making Regina speak up.
"Teddy, what is going on with you?" She asked as she moved to stand next to him. "You're not even using it."
"Well, I am now. Because... I'm in the tournament with..." he began to tell as he looked around before pointing to someone. "Him!"
He began to rush towards Wade surprisingly.
'Ok then.'

We enjoyed the time watching others bowl when Emil wasn't having his own turn, and I cheered for Regina and him. Of course Teddy was bowling really well making me and Emil share a knowing look.
"He does know it is extremely obvious he is cheating right?" I whispered to Emil making him chuckle.
"I do not know how he would think otherwise." He whispered back making us laugh.
I look over at Teddy to see him look annoyed towards us, but change slightly when he saw me give a small smile and wave, causing him to give one back before he went back to focusing on bowling.
'I feel bad for him. Feeling replaced is never fun to experience.'
Teddy ended up hitting a strike, causing him to begin to show off his repurposed tea dipping robot arm and looked over at us.
"I am on fire." He told
"Yes, you are." Emil told as his arm began to actually catch on fire making us panic at how he didn't realise.
"Literally." We both told making him look to see just that and his arm began to go haywire.
I rushed to grab a glass of water and tossed it towards his arm. Though sadly, Teddy also got drenched from it as well.
"Sorry."
He didn't say anything to me and just left to go towards the bar.
'You're welcome.'
I walked back over to the couch and checked on Emil to see he was ok.
"Anna, I am fine. I was not hit by anything."
"It is my job to make sure you are safe." I quietly stated making him grab my hands.
"And I am telling you. I am fine. Thank you for being worried about me, but I also know you are just using it to distract the fact you are hurting."
"I just, Teddy basically ignoring me kinda hurt. Especially with me helping as much as I could with the fire technology he was wearing."
"Thank you for helping him." He told making me give a small smile.
"Shush you." I joked making us laugh as he wrapped his arm around my stomach and held me close to him.
'He's the best.... Though I do not think he realises how much he is protective over me.'
