(Anna p.o.v)
I was walking back up to my room with some drinks since Emil wanted us to have a movie night, but I took my time due to my body still being sore from what had happened earlier today. When I finally got to my bedroom door I walked in.
"I didn't grab any Spuz cola due to it making you hyper and I will not deal with that." I told before looking up to see the room was covered in fairy lights and Emil standing there with a smile.
"Happy birthday Anastasia. Surprise." He told.
"What is this?" I questioned as I put the cans down on the side table next to me bed.
"This is your birthday party."
"What?"
"Well you told me I had only one more chance to create a birthday party for you or no more. So I thought long and hard on what would be perfect for you. This is what I came up with."
"Emil..... this is perfect." I told making him smile but also hold a shock look.
"Really?"
"Yeah. It's perfect."
"Well, allow me to show you what else I have planned."
"As long as it doesn't ruin any of this." I told as he put on some music before he pulled me into his arms and we began to slowly dance to it.
"Have I ever told you how amazing you always are?"
"Yes. You always try to make sure I know I do great at my job."
"Well I shall keep telling you. You are always amazing."
"Thank you Emil."
"I know it's your job to protect me and help me rise to the day I will take over the thrown. But I feel that our bond has grown to us taking care of one another."
"I suppose."
"No matter what Anna, I want to make you happy."
"You make me happy by being you. Despite whenever you are a royal pain in my ass, or when you make me want to pull my hair out." I told making him laugh.
"I suppose that's a good thing."
"I suppose so as well. I'm glad my father wanted me to be your guard."
"I'm glad you became my guard." He admitted making us quietly chuckle.
'This is the most perfect birthday I've ever had.'
