Rafael.

I was getting some drinks for us to have, only to come back and see Emil bothering one of the people who works at the bar. I made my way over and placed the drinks on the table near the couch so I could deal with Emil.
"This is me and Teddy camping. Delete. This is us at his birthday party. Delete. Oh he looks bad in this one. Save for revenge collage."
As soon as I heard that, I rushed over and grabbed his phone off of him making him give me a shocked look. While he was distracted with me the man quickly made his escape.
"Anna?!"
"Do not Anna me. Why are you deleting all these photos, Emil?"
"We are no longer friends. So why should I keep them?"
"Because I know you two will work through this disagreement. That and I am also in these photos, I will not have you delete them when I quite like them."
"You have too much faith."
"Of course I do. You two will solve this some how."
Before he could say anything someone placed their hands over his eyes making us both confused, and I got ready to quickly fight the strange man if he tried anything.
"Guess who."
"I need a clue." Emil stated.
"Uh, sure! Does this help?" The dude removed his hands and stood between me and Emil so I was out of sight.
"Not at all."
"Well that is just rude."
"It's me, Rafael. We haven't met before."
"You do realise he would not have known that, due to never hearing your voice before." I stated.
"Oh that explains why the guessing was so difficult." Emil told with a smile.
'Great. I'm being ignored.'
"I got your e-mail. You know, I'm Teddy's old pen pal. Just wanted to swing by and say thank you."
"You are welcome. But how did you know it was me?"
"Oh, I didn't. I just tried like seven other guys, and boom! Gotcha." He told as he gave a little laugh before quickly stopping "Wait, you're Emil right?"
"Yes, I am. And this is Anastasia, but she also goes by Ann or as I call her Anna." Emil told making him look towards me quickly.
"Boom! Gotcha." He told before turning towards me "So sorry for that whole stand in front of you. Didn't realise you two were connected."
"It is quite alright." I told making him take my hand and slightly raise it.
"Though I must say. You are quite beautiful, has anyone told you that?"
"Not many have."
"Well then, they must not have eyes if they do not tell you." He told before kissing the back of my hand.
"That's very kind of you Rafael." I told smiling at him but Emil quickly spoke and wrapped and arm around me in a protective manner.
"I am so sorry that I had to be the bearer of bad news about Teddy." He told as we went and sat on the chair and I ended up sitting on the arm while Rafael took the couch
"It's all good. You know I should have figured it out on my own after he didn't reply to my last 137 letters." He told as I began to play with Emils hair making him lean towards me more.
"Probably should have clued in." I agreed slightly as he nodded.
"It could have happened to anyone." Emil told
"I dunno, I just thought me and Teddy really connected at the computer camp. You're gonna think this is super lame, but I once thought he would be the Stank Man and Daryl." Rafael told
"Oh loose moose." I quietly told knowing where this was going to go.
Emil began to freak out and stood up as he became over excited. I could tell he was trying to calm himself a bit before he continued speaking.
"Back up the moose cart. You like Stank Man and Daryl?!"
"Uh no. They're super boring and I'm definitely not watching 'Barbecue Runs' tonight."
"Oh." Emil sadly said as he sat down on the arm of the chair with me obviously disappointed.
"Psyche!" He exclaimed as he stood up "They're super awesome and I am definitely watching their 'Barbecue Runs' tonight!"
"Oh what a roller coaster you had me on!" Emil exclaimed as he also stood up.
"Dude, I love roller coasters."
"I love roller coasters." Emil told
"I also love roller coasters." I added.
"Hey. Brainstorm. We're clickin like Dorothy's heels. What do you say we watch the 'Barbecue Runs' together?" He asked as he moved a bit past me.
"I am to watch them with Anna." Emil told making me speak up.
"Emil it's quite alright. Rafael can join us together for this." I told making him really excited.
"Then I would love to. Psyche! I would really love to!"
"We'll work on that." Rafael told before he laughed again.
He raised his hand for a high five which Emil followed along with before he quickly switched to go for a turkey tap.
"Turkey tap!"
"Oh, jock block!" He exclaimed as he hit his hand away.
"Oh, you are good." Emil told as they shared a knowing look.
"This is so weird." I admitted but I couldn't help but smile along.
"Anna, do you want to bowl with us?" Emil asked.
"I am happy to just watch the two of you bonding."
"Then after you, Anastasia." Rafael told as he gave a bow.
"Why thank you Rafael. You are very kind." I told smiling before heading toward the bowling alley side with them close behind me.
I sat on the couch and watched them bowl, and Rafael kept being so sweet to me. But Emil seemed to become slightly protective over me every time Rafael kissed my hand or complemented my appearance.
'Is this what it is like to have someone have a crush on you?'
