After a lot of cleaning in the bathrooms, Emil and Regina were now cleaning the bowling shoes together while I just watched. Surprisingly they made a little song and dance out of it, which honestly was quite surprising to see since it didn't take them long to work it out. Soon Teddy walked over with a confused look at what they were doing, since it was an odd sight to see.
"Uh, what's going on?" Teddy asked making them speak as one in their song tunes way.
"We are cleaning the bowling shoes. Clean cleaning, the bowling shoes."
"They have been in perfect sync this entire time, and it is truly impressive to just watch." I stated.
"Let's break it down, now!" Regina sung making them go slower and quieter for now.
"Amazing." I stated only for Teddy to still have a confused look.
"Well, mum. I was gonna ask you to make one of your brain power smoothies." He told only for Emil and Regina to continue their shoe cleaning like he didn't say anything.
'Is this how my family felt when I first started working as Emil's guard?'
"But, I guess I could try to make it myself." He told before walking off a little and turning back to us. "For the first time ever!"
"Great, honey. The bananas are in the bowl." She told before her and Emil shared a look and began a new dance.
"The bananas are in the bowl! Bananas are in the bowl!" They sang making me smile and chuckle at it.
"Anna you must join us! It is so much fun." Emil stated but I just waved it off with a smile.
"It's quite alright. I enjoy watching you do some work since it is not everyday our roles are reversed." I explained as they continued to clean the shoes.
"Emil watched you do chores?" Regina questioned making us nod.
"Emil often finished his chores before I did, so he would often just watch and talk to me while I did them."
"It is true. She never allowed me to help her."
"You two are so strange, but it is so adorable." She stated.
Through tragedy had struck them. For they soon ran out of shoes to clean, which made Emil upset at that fact.
"Awww. We're all done cleaning bowling shoes." He told before spraying the counter twice as he spoke. "Clean-cleaning the bowling shoes."
"Well, one of us still need to figure out what's clogged the kitchen sink." She admitted as she wiped the counter down and Emil got excited again.
"I hereby declare dibs!" He exclaimed as he threw his arm into the air.
"Darn it, beat me again!" She told as she gave the counter a slap.
'Quite impressive tricking him like that.... Maybe I can use that trick when we go home.'
"Well." She spoke as she grabbed the drain snake and handed it to Emil.
"Drain snake. Fun!" He exclaimed before rushing off a bit.
Of course though, he quickly came back to the two of us to grab my hand and pull him with him to the sink in question.

"So how do you enjoy cleaning?" I asked as he used the drain snake in the sink.
"Extremely. You should let me help you more back home." He stated.
"We both know, I will not allow that."
"I will convince you some day."
"We will see."
After a few moments of us talking about random things, Emil finally got something and pulled it out. Revealing a very moldy piece of food, and I had to cover my nose from the smell.
"What even is that?!" I questioned as my voice was slightly muffled from the fact I was covering my nose and mouth from the smell.
"I do not know. But we must show Regina." He stated before dragging me back to Regina to show the find.
'This may end up going terribly wrong.'
As we neared the two, we ended up catching what ever Teddy was saying. To which Emil was excited due to the context and who it seemed Teddy was referring to.
"I'll give you one guess. Someone who's been forced into my room and his best friend pointed out a few flaws in my tech fair project." Teddy stated.
"Is it me? That sounds like me and Anna." He told smiling and Regina tried to signal that now was not the time only for Teddy to turn back to face her making her stop.
'Oh dear.'
"Now I have to start all over and the fact that I have to do this tournament tomorrow kinda throws a wrench in things. So if you don't mind..." he trailed off as he moved back towards the blender and began to add things back into it. "I'm gonna need my brain food."
"Should you not...." I began only for him to ignore me by putting the lid on and turn it on.
It began to make the usual whirling noises until the products inside said blender began to make it emit a grinding noise. It soon quickly began to smoke quite a bit making me worried it was going to catch on fire very soon. Though, that surprisingly didn't stop Teddy from grabbing the blender still and take it off the bottom.
"That's good. I like it chunky." He told before walking away to his room.
"How can one boy be so smart but also an idiot?" I questioned only to get a unsure shrug from Regina signalling that not even she knew before going to deal with the smoking machine, but of course Emil remembered why we rushed back to her in the first place.
"Oh! You will not believe what was clogging the kitchen sink." He told excited from his findings.
"Oh what?" She asked not looking towards us.
"This curious thing." He told pulling it up from his side so she could see it, and once she did she got a very shocked look.
"It is truely fowl in every way." I added.
"Wow, we haven't sold the corn dogs for three years." She admitted.
"That's a corn dog?" I questioned for I didn't truely believe a corn dog would turn into what Emil was holding. "You will definitely need to wash your hands multiple times in soup and warm water."
"Understandable." He told before Wade came over speaking.
"Hey, brought the corn dogs back. Jackpot." He told taking it from Emil's hand, but before we could stop him, he began to eat it.
"Oh I think I will be sick." I admitted quietly so only Emil heard.
"I think I will be as well, Anna." Emil confessed as Wade held a confused look.
"What? Today's my cheat day." He stated before walking away.
"That's definitely not going to go well later." I stated making Emil nod.
"Agreed."
