(Anna p.o.v)

The worse part about being away from our home country is missing out on the yearly sports, like the Buronian Leg Wrestling Championship. Which made me feel a little homesick due to not being able to see it in person this year with the rest of our families.

"And here they are: Reginald Moncrief, the bad boy of Buronia, verse Yost 'The Hammer' Vikander. Two gladiators of the sport ready to engage in the most vicious of battles." The announcer exclaimed.
They both ripped their pants off to reveal the small shorts they were wearing, and tossed their pants off to the side.
"Begin!"
They give a yell before rushing forward and falling on their backs. They quickly moved a bit so they are lined up just right and begin to wrestle with their legs.
"And the Buronian Leg Wrestling Championship has begun with the Leg Cup on the line and... Oh, boy! Vikander catches Moncrief in a vicious calf tangle."

"Dig deep, Reginald. Unleash that powerful groin." Emil told as me, him and Teddy watched from the tablet Emil was holding.
"Why are we watching this?" Teddy questioned.
"The Leg Cup is the single greatest sporting event in all of Buronia." Emil explained before I jumped in to continue.
"People from all over the nation train everyday for a chance to win the cup. And only a select few have."
"And this is the first year that I will not be able to attend with my father, or Anna's family."
"And you wondered why I assumed you two were related." Teddy pointed out.
"In all honesty you do make a very valid and fair point." I stated before Emil continued with the plan he told me earlier.
"So I thought perhaps we could have our own leg battle." He told as he handed the tablet to me and ripped his pants off to reveal his own small shorts, which made Teddy form an upsetting look on his face.
"No, no, no, no, no."
'I did think this was likely to happen.'
"Do not worry, Teddy. I got you your own pair of battle briefs." Emil told as he pulled a matching grey pair out of his jacket pocket and showed them to him.
"As I said, no, no, no, no, no. Also should you really look like that in front of Anna?" Teddy asked making Emil and me share a knowing look before turning back to Teddy.
"She has seen me in far worse and far less sadly." He admitted with a look of like he was reliving the event all over again.
"It is true. It was called the Toga incident, and never again."
"She is not wrong."
"Look, Emil, I know you want to hang out, but I've only got 75 days before the Illinois State Junior Tech Fair." He told before going and sitting down at his desk.
"Teddy, that is two and a half months." We both told as one which made him pull a distressed look.
"Sounds even sooner when you put it like that. But, lucky I've got something pretty amazing up my sleeve." He told making us get excited.
"Is it one of those infinite scarfs?" I asked.
"Oh I hope it's that. I love that trick." Emil added.
"No." he told as he got up and pulled his sleeve up to show a glove with technical stuff on it.
"I was really hoping for the scarf." Emil admitted with a sad tone.
"I was as well." I told before Teddy turned it on and it lit up and began to do.... Something.
"Wow! What does it do? Shoot lasers?" Emil began to ask and I jumped in with my own thoughts.
"Break through walls?"
"Crush the spines of your enemies?" Emil told with more excitement in his tone then he should have.
"Okay, you are way too excited for that one." I told making him smile towards me.
"Better. Steeps the perfect cup of tea." He told before he began to do just that making us both disappointed in the outcome.
"Any other idea is better then that Teddy." I admitted.
"Could you not just put it on a stand, so both your hands could be free?" Emil asked as we raised our hands to show they were free, making him drop the tea bag in the cup.
"Where was that idea 2 weeks ago?"

We walked down the stairs, and thankfully Emil was back in the matching pants to his jacket. He was holding the tablet in his hand as it was ringing since he took it off me once we left his shared room. Just before we sat down, it picked up and Iagos chatter could be heard making me smile.
"Hello, Iago." He told with a smile on his face as we sat down.
"Hello." I told making him give squeaks in return.
"It is so good to see you." He told before realising what Iago was wearing. "Wait. Is that a Vikander jersey?"
"Oh we got another on the team." I told as Iago did a twirl for us, showing the matching jacket we shared while Emil was the one left out.
"You traitor! You only like him because he has his own line of fig chips." Emil stated as Iago began to eat some of the chips me smile.
"Okay, but the way he is eating them is so cute." I stated causing Emil to give a sad smile.
'Who knew we would miss home this much.'
"I wish we were there right now. Is Father available?" He asked making Iago shake his head no. "Of course. Is he watching the Cup with you?"

"What a move by Moncrief!" The announcer told making Emil jump up and try and see the match.

'Oh dear.'
"Iago move! All I can see is your hairy heinie." He told before the connection was lost. "That's another sporting event ruined by Iago's tiny monkey butt."
He put the tablet on the coffee table before collapsing back into the couch next to me. I took his hand into mine giving it a light squeeze as he moved so his head was now resting on my shoulder.
"You ok?" I asked knowing the truth that he wasn't.
"No. I miss our families." He confessed.
"Well you've got me. It could have been worse if I was still there and you were here. You could have drowned on air." I joked making him chuckle.
"How is it, that you are meant to protect me, but instead comfort me and make me laugh when I don't think I could?"
"I just know you so well."
"That you do."
Soon Regina came over to mop and saw how upset we looked, though I assume Emil looked the most upset. Causing her to go into mother mode for us.
"Oh, Emil. You have that face Teddy makes when there's a snow day and he can't go to school." She told making him sit up and look towards her.
"I am sorry. I will fix it." He told before he gave a pained looking smile.
"Please stop that." I told which he instantly did.
"Okay. Lay it on me." She told as she walked over and sat on the other side of him.
"I suppose I am just feeling a bit homesick." He admitted. "And do not get me wrong. I'm glad I have Anna with me, but it does not help a lot."
'I get that.'
"I'm sorry. It must be so tough being so far from your families."
"Especially during the leg cup." He told before realising something and began to stand up.
"Oh no." I quietly spoke since I knew what was going to happen.
"You would not be interested in a little leg wrestling, would you?" He asked pulling out the tiny shorts from his pocket as he smiled from ear to ear and Regina was working out what to say.
"Tempting, but I have a thrilling afternoon of hosing down the men's room ahead of me." She admitted as she got up and went back to the mop. "Why don't you and Ann do it?"
"We aren't allowed to anymore. I almost hurt him the last time I did it." I explained and Emil spoke going back to what Regina said about cleaning.
"Oh. That does sound like fun."
"Well, I have to clean this place for the family doubles tournament tomorrow. You're welcome to join me."
"A thousand yeses." He exclaimed rushing towards her and I quickly made sure I stayed by his side.
'Should be fun getting to see him do chores instead of him watching me do them.'
"I was never allowed to do any chores back home." He confessed.
'Emil!'
"Really? You grew up on a moose farm and you never did any chores?" She asked making me quickly jump in.
"Of course we did chores." I stated and elbowed him to say something to help with the lie.
"Oh, if you... love milking a moose, it is not a chore."
"It is an honour." We both told as one and surprisingly it convinced her.
'Oh thank moose's that worked.'
"Well if you like that, then you are going to love snaking out a urinal." She stated making Emil excited.
"Huzzah!" He exclaimed throwing his arms into the air before quickly grabbing mine and pulling them into the air with his.
"Huzzah." I told as Regina laughed, before Emil began to rush into the back pulling me with him.
'Strange boy.'
