(Emils p.o.v)

I was sitting around the campfire with Anna next to me and everyone else was around the fire as truth or dare was being played. I was looking at my hands not fully focusing on what was happening during the game.
'Am I doing something wrong? He seems to be miserable and Anna also doesn't seem to be enjoying herself here as well. She always seemed so happy when we went camping for the Badger hunts.'
"Ok, truth. My biggest secret is.... I hate playing the violin." Sydney said
"No way."
"Really?"
"I only do it cause my mums make me. This might sound crazy, but....I kind of want to be a DJ. Is that crazy? It's crazy. I mean it's crazy, right? Oh my gosh I sound crazy."
"Nah girl, follow your dreams." Tanner told her
"Thanks Tanner."
"I also have a dream. One day, I want to climb Mountain Dew. Hey! Who wants to hear me learn how to play guitar?" He asked standing up with everyone following him.
I stayed in my seat and continued to look at my hand.
'Maybe she never enjoyed camping and just acted like she did... and Teddy is miserable here.'
"Emil?" Anna questioned making me look up at her. "You ok?"
Before I could answer Sydney came walking back over to us.
"Hey, you seem distracted. You ok?"
"Truth. I'm not ok." I said as I stood up next to her. "I feel terrible that I dragged Teddy and Anna here and they're not enjoying themselves. I was hoping this trip would bring Teddy and I together like magnets, but instead it just pushed us apart...also like magnets. I was also hoping Anna would be loving this trip but instead she looks to be hating this whole trip. Maybe I simply wasn't meant to have friends."
"What are you talking about? We're friends." She said making me smile.
"Also Emil why do you think I'm hating this trip?"
"Your not enjoying it like you usually do."
"Only because I'm unsure here." She told as Sydney walked over to the seats again and we both sat down, before she started talking.
"You know, when Teddy and I were younger, we all used to hang out a lot. But then I got into an all girls school, he got into robots and there's just not a lot of crossover there. Honestly, I think with Teddy he needs someone like you to give him a push. And Anna...I think she just needs to know you're with her through this. You two are already friends, and I don't think I've ever seen one of you without the other close by." She told making us all chuckle.
"You are right!" I said standing up. "I will wear him down with my relentless charms until they have no choice but to succumb to our inevitable friendship."
I began to rush off to where Teddy had gone only for Anna to call out to me.
"Emil will you please wait!"
'This will be a trip to remember.'
