Mercury: Or your body clock has just trained itself to wake up to my alarms?  In which case, I beat you?

Jimin: No.

Mercury: Yes.

Jimin: Let me have this little victory. 

Mercury: Okay, I'm sorry. You're a champ, Jimin. 

Jimin: You wanna know what I dreamt about?

Mercury: Of course, always.

Jimin: The sea. I think it was Italy. I don't know, it's stupid. Just a stupid little dream.

Mercury: It's not stupid. It sounds lovely.

Jimin: It was. It's gonna sound weird, but like, you-

Mercury: Sorry to interrupt - Megatron8000 is trying to connect.

Jimin: For fucks sake. Actually, it's probably better that I didn't say anything weird. Answer it, please.

Connecting call. 

Jimin: Jungkook. We agreed. 7am. No earlier.

Jungkook: Yeah, yeah, sorry I'll do it next time. It was urgent. 

Jimin: What's up?

 Jungkook: I had to test my Mercury7 out. It's been glitching out so badly.

Jimin: In what way?

Jungkook: Well, I asked it to read Shrek The Halls to me last night-

Jimin: It's June.

Jungkook: It's December somewhere.

Jimin: No, Jungkook, that's not how it works.

Jungkook: Regardless, whatever, I asked him to read it and then he told me to fuck off? And I was like, alright, bet. Kinda found it funny so I was like yeah yeah whatever and then it did this weird shutdown thing.

Jimin: How do you mean?

Jungkook: It said it needed to do a system reboot and then it started up this morning like totally wiped.

Jimin: Wiped?

Jungkook: Yeah. New voice, had lost all the preferences I had saved. I wasn't even sure if this call would go through. 

Jimin: Have you read the manual? 

Jungkook: Doesn't come with one. The manual is embedded in it, but it's just giving me generic answers.

Jimin: That's weird. Mine had a little glitch back in May after an update. It was fine by the morning, though. Maybe just make a note to say that you'd like to restore your preferences? See if that makes a difference?

Jungkook: Sounds like a plan.

Jimin: Alright. I'll see you at work, yeah?

Jungkook: See you at work, man.
