A. Shin: Do you feel as if your access to a Mercury7 helped or hindered your life?

P. Jimin: Helped.

A. Shin: But you're acting as a witness for the prosecution. Can you explain why?

P. Jimin: I guess. Uh, so, we all saw what happened with Taemin, right? Right. Similar situation to me, I guess. Actually, no, not really. He actually built a reciprocated bond. He met his Mercury before it all went to shit.

A. Shin: There are some similarities. You both felt fondly towards your Mercury7's.

P. Jimin: Yeah, you're right. I'm sorry, this is the first time I'm talking about it all out loud. It's hard.

A. Shin: We can go at your pace, Jimin. No need to rush.

P. Jimin: Thank you... What I think it all boils down to is the fact that I cared about my Mercury - and I think she cared about me.

A. Shin: So why would that lead to you acting as a witness against Mercury INC?

P. Jimin: 'Cause all I have to lose is a little bit of dignity. There are idols in smaller groups who could have their careers written off if their Mercury7 data got shared. There needs to be some kind of justice, but asking someone to sacrifice everything they've worked for? Nah. That doesn't sit right for me. They didn't do anything wrong, and yet they'd still end up punished as a result of this all. There would be no winners.

A. Shin: And what about yourself? Surely you lose here, too?

P. Jimin: Like I said, I'll just lose a little bit of dignity. I can survive a scandal. Other people can't. Their careers aren't established, they're not able to financially support themselves. Mine is. I can... Plus not everything is a loss.

A. Shin: No?

P. Jimin: No. I admit that I'm being a little bit selfish. I have additional motives for doing this.

A. Shin: Such as...Your Mercury7?

P. Jimin: Yep. Lose a little dignity; gain the chance to look at her in the eyes.
