(TW; panic attack)
Third Person POV
"Alright, are you doing better now baby?" Kai asked softly.
The blonde nodded as he wiped the remaining tears off of his face.
Just ten minutes ago they were fine. Cuddling in the green ninja's bed, they just enjoyed each other's company.
But then... Kai commented on how pretty the night was.
And while that was true- night reminded Lloyd of Darkness... which reminded him of Morro, and being locked in a classroom at Darkley's, and the Oni smoke that haunted him for days afterwards and- before he knew it, he was curled up into a ball, whimpering and shaking.
He was having a panic attack.
Luckily Kai was there to help him; the blonde usually tries to handle these things on his own.

"T-Thank you, for this." Lloyd smiled. The brunette smiled back as he wrapped him into a hug.
"You don't have to thank me, you shouldn't have to go through this alone." He pulled away and began to get up from the bed.
"W-Wait."
Kai felt a hand grip his sleeve. He turned back to see Lloyd staring at him with pleading eyes, begging.
"Stay with me." he stuttered out as he grabbed the latter's hands. "Please... I don't want to be alone."
Kai mentally beat himself up for not staying anyways. He crawled back into the bed as Lloyd snugged against him.
"Kai..?"
"Yeah?"
"You'll always stay by my side right?" at this point they were face to face. Kai stared deeply into those emerald orbs he loved so much before kissing Lloyd softly.
"I'll never leave you, Lloyd." he whispered.
The brunette played with the blonde hair, soothing him until he was asleep. Kai made sure the latter was sleeping soundly before drifting off as well.
